I have only had the opportunity to make a couple of cards but found everything very user friendly. After the holidays when I have more time I am excited to explore more with all the supplies I have acquired. I find the YouTube instructions help with the learning curve.

Great size

I love my Joy Xtra. I had a first generation Cricut many years ago, however, donated after non-use. This Joy Xtra is the perfect size for my needs. At times, I do have difficulty with cutting small detailed items, however, that could be the vinyl or setting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My husband got this for me, my first Cricut but I am disappointed in the product. It does not seem to be connected to our WiFi despite re-starting it and re-connecting again. I printed a calibration sheet and it never would take the calibration

I really like the size. It makes intricut cuts easily. Easy to manuever and works great for what I do the most which is cardmaking..

Joy Xtra Brings Extra Joy to Making!

My husband got me the Cricut Joy initially for Christmas last year, and after a few months of use he got me the Cricut Joy Xtra so I could do more. I LOVE my Cricut Joy Xtra so so much! I am a huge "I can make that" person, and with my Xtra I have really been able to diversify what I can make. I also make a lot of learning materials and functional play toys for my kids, and this helps a lot. The materials are not super pricey which is very appealing. The cutting on the Xtra is far better and more precise than the Joy, and it makes projects way easier(I love making things but I hate cutting things by hand).
I would recommend this to a friend!
