This little machine needs to be able to resize for 6 inch and 12 inch smart materials. Why would you create a new machine with yet another material size. Make it use what we already hsve. Shame on you.. .

The best machine ever! Larger than my Joy, an using regular sized vinyl , yet so much lighter and easier to carry around that the larger machines! The perfect choice!

I have not created much yet but I did make a few Christmas cards and am very happy with them. I hope I can learn how to create my own designs, not sure if it will be difficult or not. The size of the Joy Xtra is great!!

Versatile and portable machine!

I upgraded to the Cricut Joy Xtra and love it! The extra width and larger selection of materials is very versatile while sitll maintaining a small footprint and easy to transport (wish there was a cool bag like I had for the smaller one!)

I’ve had the Xtra for a few months and the day I took it out to complete a project….I couldn’t. The machine appeared to go through the steps to boot up then it wouldn’t connect….and it wouldn’t connect and again it wouldn’t connect. So the fault lies with Cricut and its site. I then moved to my Cricut joy and the same thing happened. I had to abandon my card project and buy a card. It appears that I wasn’t the only one having issues that day. It was the Cricut site and Design Space that were experiencing the issue and not allowing me to use the tools I pay for monthly. There was no notice on the site to make me aware there was a problem. I went into a couple of groups and realized quickly it was system wide. So, I am not able to rate the machine….just the service I subscribe to in order to use the machine.

Mat does not feed properly in the Cricut Joy Extra

This is the 3rd Cricut Joy Extra I have purchased. I have had trouble with all three of them. The mat keeps hitting the side or the back of the machine and makes horrible noise, it has bent several mats. I was hoping that they would have fixed the issue by now, however I just received the 3rd machine and It still has the same issue as the other two. I am EXTREAMLY unhappy that this issue has not been fixed since the first release!

Questioning my purchase

Not happy with limited instruction. Bundle was to include free digital projects, where do I find those? If in design space, not easily found. My 3rd Cricut, so I’m not a novice, if I was I would return it.
