I’m frustrated. No instructions on how to use design space. I’m at a complete standstill will an expensive machine and I have no clue how to use it. Have tried utube videos but they don’t explain in enough detail. Don’t know which type of mat to use, how to make something from design space 😩😖😖😖😩

Frustrating. Save your money

This might be a fun, creative tool, however, when it sometimes connects (Yee Haw!) but mostly blinks that stupid "not connected" light it's not fun at all. This is my replacement one, mind you. The first one did the same thing. My computer is fine. The bluetooth is connected. Sometimes Cricut connects. I've made three cuts, trying every combination and permutation of turning off bluetooth, starting from the Welcome page instead of going directly to me Design Space saved items, restarting the computer.... What have I left out? That stupid light is still blinking at me.... Error #3. Did all that they recommended. No help. Would getting the more expensive USB cable connected version of Cricut do the trick? Maybe.... I am ready to throw it out the window. I already went through the hassle of making a video of what is wrong in order to qualify for Cricut to honor their warranty. Sent the first one back. After two weeks the replacement has come and is doing the same thing.

Brand new purchase broken straight out of the box

I bought this machine in Sept 2025 and each time that I attempted to create any kind of stickers using the machine and software I only ever got "error -45 84"; which resulted in NEVER being able to succeed in ever getting any stickers cut. There was nothing wrong with the sticker mat, sticker sheet, completely brand new blades that came with the machine, and NOTHING obstructing the rollers. All the software says is to restart the Cricut Joy Extra and try again. This machine only has Bluetooth, no USB, so no alternative way to connect the product to a device. There is absolutely no documentation about this error.

Mat does not feed straight on most uses despite me unloading and reloading to try to fix the issue, it causes the mat to get caught and bend, mostly on the right side, every time.

Look i love the cricut joy xtra! BUT THE MATT KEEPS GETTING BENT. Its so annoying and it keeps missing my projects up. This needs to get fixed ASAP.
