I use large Roland 64-inch Print and Cut and Flatbed UV Printers, plus smaller 24-inch Graphtec Cutters, but I believe that the smaller craft cutters, like the Cricut Joy Xtra, are just easier to work with for very small lettering.
The instructions weren’t clear at first and I had to watch multiple YouTube videos to understand it. The smart materials don’t hold well in the machine without the mat either which you have to buy separately. Seems like a money grab with all the materials you have to buy just to use the machine. Wish I knew this before hand.
I got this for my Mom, because I love my Maker 3, I wanted to get her a smaller machine. Works great for the size. I don't like how you can't recut before unloading, no score feature, can be a little tricky loading the mat
