love the print n cut with the new joy xtra. I am happy with being able to do the little jobs of print n cut with the joy xtra more convenient than bringing out the Maker takes up less space. It has the same options as the Joy & options of the Maker which is even better get two machines in one. It does need the function buttons like the Maker so don't always have to go back to the computer to push the go & unload button. I am so happy that I bought the Joy xtra it completes my machines. I currently have the joy, joy xtra, and the Maker. I got all the best machines, in my book I have best of all worlds. I haven't used it without the mat yet but that is coming with all the holidays coming up. I now can do my print n cut on the joy xtra while the maker is cutting my window cling and bigger projects. Can't wait to do more with the Joy xtra this season.
This machine is so stinking cute. I love that you can do print and cut. I'm not so happy that it doesn't come with at least 1 mat I have a joy and I love it, but I really love the xtra
I've had both the Joy and the Explore Air 2, and this combines the best aspects of each. The print then cut feature and the wider width are a massive step up from the Joy, but it's not so bulky as the Air and has the easier controls of the Joy. I think the only thing I might want on the Xtra that it doesn't have is the extra blades (Deep Cut and Bonded Fabric) or the scoring stylus. However, I feel like the pros outweigh the cons by miles.
I bought the Joy Xtra to replace my Joy. The rollers on my Joy are shot because I have used so often! I have got it working again too sort of. I have only cut a few pieces with my new Xtra it worked perfectly ! I am in process of working on 8 scrapbooks for my grandkids therefore it will be getting a workout !
Love being able to do larger cards and projects with the smaller size machine that I can carry to my campsite! Can see a lot of “Joy” using this machine!
