I love the small portability of the Joy Xtra . I can take it with me on trips. I can still make a lot of the same things as i could with the maker. I am currently between houses at the moment and my maker is in storage, so this is perfect for my smaller current situation. I do wish they would hurry up and come out with more specific vinyl, htv, and infusible ink materials for the Joy Xtra though. Overall I am very happy with it.
I’ve have been buying Cricuts from the very beginning. Loved them all. I have the Joy, and also bought the Maker 3, but the Joy Xtra really hits that sweet spot! Portable, but bigger than the Joy (which I adore, and use often), and with print and cut…perfection! Easy setup and perfect cuts.
This little but mighty machine. It fits nicely on my desk top. So easy to set up and start using. And the end products are perfect. Just the right amount of everything all bundled into one machine. Love that fact you can use smart materials (without a mat) or use materials with a mat.
love the print n cut with the new joy xtra. I am happy with being able to do the little jobs of print n cut with the joy xtra more convenient than bringing out the Maker takes up less space. It has the same options as the Joy & options of the Maker which is even better get two machines in one. It does need the function buttons like the Maker so don't always have to go back to the computer to push the go & unload button. I am so happy that I bought the Joy xtra it completes my machines. I currently have the joy, joy xtra, and the Maker. I got all the best machines, in my book I have best of all worlds. I haven't used it without the mat yet but that is coming with all the holidays coming up. I now can do my print n cut on the joy xtra while the maker is cutting my window cling and bigger projects. Can't wait to do more with the Joy xtra this season.
