This little machine makes sticker, t-shirts and decals. Love that is does print and cut. It doesn't take up much space at all. Love it! I will say if you are looking for a machine that does a lot like the bigger machines and do not have a lot of space for one. This on is perfect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This machine is more than just a little Xtra!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the new Cricut Joy Xtra! I have the Joy and it’s great for fast & small projects but I use it more for home organization than actual crafting projects. With the Xtra having Print then Cut and an 8.5” cutting space - I have been able to use it for most of my projects and have used it the most as it can be kept easily on a small piece of my desk. I love having a machine so close to me to help me make up more projects whenever I want! This will be easily my most used Cricut machine!
I have a Joy and decided to up grade to the Joy extra. I love it! Its just a bit wider than the Joy so it allows me to do bigger projects. It's a great machine! I highly recommend if you are short on space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was provided this machine to try and give my honest opinion. It is a fantastic machine, compact in size but does so many functions. Print and Cut, cuts a large amount of different supplies ex. Permanent and removable vinyl, HTV, Printable Sticker paper, Printable Vinyl, and more
It's okay. I do not like that it does not have a scoring blade. It is very disappointing!
I have the makers. As well as the joy and now the joy xtra. I expected for this to help me do my small jobs without having to work on the maker. It's expensive and just okay.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Make sure you have several mats on hand...

Cute little machine and can do a lot of things, however, cutting "smart" materials without a mat is not one of them. I was so excited to go matless with this little guy and bought so many smart rolls of vinyl to go with it. Sadly, every project I've tried to do with the smart materials has gone in the trash. It starts off great but then the material slides around and screws up the cut. Now, for the mats... this machine is a mat destroyer. I don't like the way it pulls the mat in. It's usually uneven the first couple of tries and so I have to unload and load again. Every. Single. Time. I don't think I've successfully loaded a mat on the first try more than 5 times since I got the machine in December. My mats are only lasting a couple of weeks before having to replace them due to being dog eared from the way they are pulled in by the machine. Fix these issues and I would be in heaven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the Joy Xtra to test and give feedback. I will say that it has become my favorite for my stickers, and so much more. This compact little machine cuts smoothly and the settings are perfect in it. I make a lot of sticker, and this machine doesn't disappoint! The print then cut feature is perfect. I've done countless other cuts with it too. I've made shadowboxes, insert cards, cut vinyl, iron-on projects, and used all the pens in it. It preformed really great. I love the 8.5" x 12" sized mats and that it uses smart materials too! It's not a very loud machine, and weighing in at 6lbs, it's perfect for travel. It really can make all the popular projects that any hobbiest would want.
