This unit replaced a 10 year old Frigidaire. The GE Inverter feature is much quieter, operates on a variable speed without shutting off and on, and most importantly for Florida living, it has a dehydrate function. The amount of water it is
pulling out of the air is amazing. Fantastic product.

Great AC

What a great Air Conditioner! The inverter technology makes it quiet and it doesn't kick on with a loud "ker-chunk". It cools 3 rooms in my house really well! The installation was a breeze! We haven't had it long enough to see actual lower costs, but it runs less.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worked Great - Until it Didn't

It worked great for about a year. Then conked out 2 weeks after the 1 year warranty expired. Appears to be a bad control panel. We were very disappointed.

It cools well down to 73 deg's - below that setting it runs continuously even with ECO on. Only if the outside temp is below 70 degrees will it pull down to 72 deg's. Don't purchase if your area outside temperature is hot and you want the room below 73 deg's...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry that your air conditioner is not cooling as expected. This air conditioner can be set to 60°F - 86°F in 1°F increments. Your air conditioner not cooling as expected can be caused by multiple factors including indoor air flow being restricted. Make sure there are not curtains, blinds or furniture blocking the front of the air conditioner. The air filter being dirty has a direct effect on the performance of this unit. Clean the filter at least every 30 days. We have also provided some additional troubleshooting tips for this unit not properly cooling on page 14 of the Owner's Manual here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--AaNRouvU--/aynprhpzrgpyoy07ym83.pdf

Great at cooling quietly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product works as designed. Although, when the temperature got inadvertently changed from Fahrenheit to Celsius, the manual did not address how to change it. Other than that, we love the unit.
