I do not recommend this product if you need to use the heat in it. The heat is non existent.

We want to help you with the heat mode on your new air conditioner. The heat mode can be used at Low, Med, High or Auto Fan speed. You'll want to use the + and up arrow to increase and the - to decrease the desired temperature between 64 and 86 degrees. Please review page 6 in your manual for more details. Purchase unit with extended warranty. Unit quits 4 months after purchase l. Contact warranty department "please return to store" no problem return to store "im sorry its been oast 90 days it a manufacturer warranty" attemot to call get automated please go online to website " please refer to ownerss manual" owners manual "if have issue please call our service department". Again automated response go online ro website.

For the same price, you can get the heat pump version, which is also physically smaller. This one takes 2 people to install. The display is barely visible in a lighted room. The app is better than nothing but insists on internet access to use it, no local control.

This model has a BTU rating of 8000 and it's designed for rooms of 300 - 350 sq ft, if your unit's BTU does not match the size of your room it will lead to poor cooling performance. To help you control your air conditioner you can use the unit's remote control as this unit comes with one. The SmartHQ app is not the only option available to control your unit. If your unit does not have a remote control, you can call our parts team at 1-877-959-8688.
