The cooling of this unit is under estimated this unit cools my whole down stairs om my house. And the quite mode you can not here it.

I have a large living room kitchen area that was in dire need of some cooling. This AC has far exceeded my expectations with capabilities. Whole living room an kitchen is now able to be below 70. The ac has WIFI too so I can start it before I get home. It's real quiet as well an have seen

We have a 420 ft party ran out by the pool and this air conditioner cools it very well even in the extreme heat of the day here in Florida! With temperatures always in the 90s in the summer, this air conditioner really keeps us cool!

AC seems to be working great in a hot & humid NY summer, complete with Canadian wildfire smoke. Cleans the air, and cools and dehumidifies a large area. I love the quiet mode. Can sit right near it reading & it doesn't disturb. Quietest AC ever!!!

Installed unit for our livingroom and its much quiet compared to our old unit in the bedroom. Cooled our livingroom in a few minutes, I like the fact you can download the app and control unit through your phone and monitor power usage.

Dehumidify me!

So far, so good! I have only had the AC unit for a week and the weather has cooled down 20 degrees! But, it is very quiet and I like the dehumidify feature a LOT! No need to cool the air when all you have to do is take out the humidity and it's fairly comfortable.
My first GE AC pooped out after only 1 year! It was a different model so I'm hoping this replacement will be much more reliable!!! Fingers crossed ; -)

I bought this GE unit in exchange for a larger, heavier, less efficient unit (different brand) that was delivered by the vendor with MAJOR damage. Thus far, my decision to return/replace the other unit (from the same vendor) has proved propitious.
Installation by my go-to handyman went smoothly. (I barely broke a sweat watching him install it.)
The unit is installed in a new, well-insulated 580 sq.ft. garage. (It's actually a jam band studio, but I park my cars in it when we are not "working.")
The unit is very quiet, cools the "garage" very quickly (in about an hour), and is quite adequate for the space.
I don't have a "read" on energy consumption just yet, but, since it doesn't run 24/7, I'm not too concerned about that anyway. However, one of the major selling features to me was the "Energy Star" rating. "Time" will tell the story on the efficacy of that rating...
So far, this GE AC unit exceeds my expectations.
