So far I love it nice n quiet and cools nicely 540 sq ft low fan mostly n med on 98 n humid days it was set on 72 n handled it easily

Turned My Oven of an Apartment into a Cool Oasis

I have struggled to effectively cool my studio apartment in New York City for many years. The apartment I live in is on a high floor, faces due west - and as such catches the full brunt of the afternoon summer sun, is in a post-war apartment with poor construction/no insulation between floors above and below and minimal/if any insulation in the outer facing walls, and windows from 1987 that I can't replace without approval from the co-op board - which allow fuller thermal effects of the sun into the space. The heat in this apartment - which rises up from lower floors in the building, combined with the lack of insulation and old inefficient windows with poor thermal properties, along with full direct sun turns my apartment space into an oven.
This is the first air conditioner I have owned since I moved into this apartment over a decade ago that actually cools the space and KEEPS it cold in the summer. I'm in heaven. I mean - it's nearly August and I actually got chilly! And it wasn't even running at full speed!! Also, as it is an energy star air conditioner, I'm looking forward to some serious savings/lowered electric bill in the coming months.
I LOVE THIS AC SO MUCH!! Highly recommended!!

Cools the whole house

The air conditioner is cooling a 1800 sq foot one level home with good results. We have a temp of approximately 74 degrees in majority of rooms.

I have a large master bedroom and only require a 12000btu, but I purchased a 14000btu. I am happy with it because it cools better than a 12k when I leave our master bathroom open. It is SUPER quiet...my previous unit (U shape) rattled my window and sounded like a truck accelerating. So far, I love this unit!
