Above and Beyond Expeentations!!

We have the LG Oled TV, so we thought we would give this a try after another name brand that we had for 6 years decided not to work anymore. From the first use, which was to pop popcorn we knew something was different. It actually pooped every kernel, something our other name brand did not do. Since then, everything we have either heated up or cooked has come out great. It's like having our own personal chef! Using the LG app is a breeze, it's lets me know when my food is done heating up and scanning meat to thaw is a piece of cake! Thank you LG for another great product!!

Very nice appliance but not Perfect

Have had this microwave for about 3 months now and would have given it 5 stars except for a couple of issues.
1) Wish that the menu printed on the right side of the frame (behind the door) were in WHITE or some very contrasting color to the black of the box. Very difficult to see & read.
2) You can't select the Air Fryer temperature and time. You must select a preprogramed option from installed options. NOT VERY PRACTICAL or CONVENIENT ! ! !

Be aware that using the microwave to steam will lead to the stainless steel interior rusting. LG considers this a maintenance issue. So climb on a step ladder, remove the turntable and dry the entire inside every time you use it

Should be recalled

Had been very happy with this new microwave for over a year, many good features. Today while warming coffee the machine started making an odd grinding noise and flashing lights also smelled an electrical burn. thankfully I was standing nearby and stopped the unit. The smoke continued and I head a noise that turned out to be a fire inside the unit.
I don't think expecting my microwave to last 2 years without catching the house on fire is an unrealistic expectation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We haven’t had any issues with the microwave. I am very pleased with the various reheating options, especially the beverage I get a cup of coffee in the afternoon or evening, reheat it using the sensor reheat and I get a wonderful cup of coffee that doesn’t burn my lips or tongue. I use or the reheat options with great results.
The option for popcorn is great, it doesn’t burn and very few unposed coronals are in the bag.
Very pleased and highly recommend it to anyone.

Cooks well. Love the sleek look. My only complaint is that if the door is not opened, the controls (including the light on/switch) is not visible therefore nothing can be seen when you're trying to decide what setting to use until the door is actually opened.

Nice unit but lacking versatility

Had unit for about a month now. Its not really what we expected with respect to using the combination bake or the air fryer features. They lack 'normal' things (settings, etc.)
