Great Machine + App

I absolutely love my Skitch! The smaller hoop is not an issue because the ease of hooping makes up for that and some. The ease of the machine+app in general in sort of mind blowing. I see a lot of complaints about limits with the machine but as long as you pick the right projects to do, it’s a step up from Brother other machines and I’m looking forward to bigger hoops, but I’m not waiting. This is a real, UNPAID review so don’t get it twisted and stop listening to those Karens.

Nice addition

I own several Brother machines from sewing to embroidery and embroidery/sewing combos. This was a welcomed addition for the pricing of a single needle and free arm machine. I have been able to do many things with it and looking forward to more. The magnetic hoop is awesome.

I don’t like that you have to use the app and also we cannot get the tension right no matter how we adjust. The bobbin thread shows through the design.

Bad buy

I was excited to get the Brother Skitch Embroidery Machine and was very disappointed when I got it. You have to pay to use the better fonts, designs and you can't use your own design unless you pay a monthly fee. This is not a good buy. Sending it back.

Confusing

Idk what I doing wrong, the bobbin holder keeps coming loose which causes me to break the needle, have had machine for a week and already broke like 5 needles.

Do not buy!!!!

0 stars! This machine and artspira app do not connect, I have to redownload the app everytime I try to use it. Once I get it connected after about an 1 long issue, it starts to have multiple issues and even after i resolved them does not let me finish the job but I do have to delete and redownload the app again to reconnect. I have not gotten one complete project done, I think Ive tried atleast 20 at this point. I would like my money back on thi machine.

Not worth the purchase

The free app is useless, purchase app is a bit better but does poor jobs digitizing images or files, the machine constantly jams tried different threads, the bobbin tray jams and pops out of please the magnet that holds it down doesn’t hold it well.
