This is the most incredible “portable” fire pit! I bought this for my husband as a present and the first time we used it was camping with friends.. the first night another family had a pit as well, and we lit theirs because it was “bigger”. After about an hour of getting smoked out the husband of the other family said alright fine let’s try out your “smokeless” fire pit. The heat was on.... all the husbands were standing around critiquing if it was really putting off less smoke. And let me tell you how impressed EVERYONE was. After the fire gets started there virtually is no smoke, and not only that... The amount of heat that this little thing puts out is incredible! Also there is no need to “poke the fire” it just keeps on burning!! If your thinking about it at all, do yourself a favor and get one! It’s a little bit of a splurge but it’s worth every penny! After one weekend camping with the little guy I came back and bought the Yukon for our permanent backyard fire pit.

Seriously the best “portable” fire pit! Lights SO easy and STAYS lit!! No poking needed just keep on feeding it wood. Puts out remarkable amount of heat as well! Already came back and bought the Yukon for our permanent backyard fire pit!! Splurge on this one, you get what you pay for, and you won’t regret it!!

What's not to love?

Could not believe how little smoke this produced. Burns super hot and is going to be great for summer nights in Wisconsin. Love how portable it is. It really does burn through wood very quickly, though. Cant wait to put this thing to work on a regular basis.

Very good thermal design. Great aesthetics. Ok, so this is what they gotta do (1) offer an ash screen for the top, (2) either (a) make the grate on the bottom removable to allow you to clean out ash beneath it or, better (b) make the bottom removable for the same purpose. The bottom grate is permanently fastened to the inner walls, so you cannot get the ascot beneath it, as well, you cannot drain the rain out without turning the whole think upside down. All that said, it is super slick. A really great idea engineered and executed extremely well. Make some practical improvements and it'll achieve its potential.

Great for city dwellers/weekend outdoor warriors

Purchased the Solo stove ranger w/ ranger stand for bonfires outside of my townhouse. This thing puts out really good heat, while minimizing any signs of smoke/combustion. Also comes out with me on weekend outdoor trips with friends/family. I get a ton of compliments and questions where I bought this product from random folks. The quality of the material is impeccable compared to other firepits I've owned. The included stand allows me to have a bonfire on pretty much most surfaces without risk of scuffing up/damaging anything below the stove. Big plus is that the stand fits nicely in the stove when not in use. A bit on the pricier side than most stove, but worth the money for the long term.

Great for city dwellers/Outdoor weekend warriors

Really ingenious design at a great price. This stove is awesome to use on my townhouse patio on a cold winter afternoon, while easily luggable in the car to campsites during the weekend. The stand let's you put the stove on any surface, and stores nicely within the stove during storage.

Best Camping Accessory Ever

So took my new Ranger Solo out for its first run this week, I am blown away with the ease of use, it lit everything after a small base of twigs and leaves it gained enough heat to light the heavy pieces VERY quickly! once lit, it developed a real nice coal bed that made the chunks light instantly. Generated a ton of heat and was very economical on wood use...I had to fight the urge to add wood. Once heated and burning the unique flame action was totally mesmerizing. once I decided to crash, I just let it burn itself out. woke in the morning to just a handfull of ash to empty in in safe place not impacting anyone or anything around. Iused a small wisk broom to sweep it out, packed it away in the Great travel bag.And cant wait to get it out again on my next adventure. Great Product! If your an avid camper ,this is a must have, Oh by the way...almost ZERO SMOKE, No Smell! Gonna try it out on my dock on some bricks just to raise it up a bit off the wood. Nothing like a nice dockside fire....

Amazing Fire Pit

I absolutely love my Ranger! I take it with me everywhere, perfect size and so easy to use! I have to keep an eye on it when it’s cooling down so none of my friends “accidentally” take off with it! LOL. I would definitely recommend the stand! I use it a lot more than I thought I would, better safe than sorry! Don’t hesitate buying, you will have so many opportunities to use it!
