This Ranger Stove is the perfect size to bring almost anywhere. Visited a friend who has a little property in the Mariposa forest, and the Ranger Stove was the perfect thing for our backyard camping situation because we had a beautiful fire for a couple of nights and left his property without leaving an unsightly and rather permanent fire pit. Thanks Solo Stove! Also have the Solo Stove Lite, which made coffee & breakfast, all with no gas. Both stoves are so versatile and just a real pleasure to own, I highly recommended any one (or all) of the Solo Stoves.

I sat in the bleachers way too long!

I fully admit that I was skeptical about this stove when it first showed up on the market. My wife and I are a prime target for this fire pit because we travel the country in our Sprinter Van looking for fun and adventure at every turn. We said, "we don't need to spend a couple of hundred dollars on a fire pit when most of the campgrounds in our travels provide one!"
Boy, were we wrong, and here's why. The Ranger fire pit is the perfect size for camping on the go, it starts in an instant and contains the coals in such a manner that you never really have to stoke the wood to keep it burning.
I'm really disappointed that I didn't purchase this stove earlier. We live in an area of the Pacific Northwest where wildfires are common, and our new Ranger Solo Stove gives us the confidence to have a nice fire without the fear of starting a forest fire. You just can't put a price on that kind of security!

Best Fire Pit Option!

We wanted a portable fire pit for camping and use at a family vacation home. After look at some poorly made inexpensive options we found the Ranger. We were impressed with the quality of construction, and the unique design. It is unlike anything else available. We fired it up in our back yard to see how it performed and within 30 minutes of using it both my wife and I were wondering what we are going to do with the high end cast chiminea we have at hone and which e spent more than twice what the Ranger cost. This is a product that not only lives up to but EXCEEDS the expectations!

FANTASTIC FIRE PIT!!

Yesterday, I stood by the UPS truck as the driver smiled and carried my new Ranger fire pit to me. “This must be what you are waiting for,” he said. I eagerly opened the box and discovered that the Ranger holds more wood than I thought. I bought a bundle of wood from the grocery store and cut each piece in half. The pieces fit perfectly, about half the bundle! I set the Ranger up on our little wood deck and lit a fire. In a few minutes, the fire was warm and beautiful! Although it was chilly and windy outside, the Ranger created a cheerful warmth for us (Grandpa and Grandma and Grandson). The wind was no problem for the Ranger. The fire burned all on its own, right down to the ash. Amazing fire pit! No smoke, few sparks, great heat! And the fire - so very beautiful! Fantastic fire pit!!!

My husband is in LOVE

I bought the Ranger for my husband for his birthday. He absolutely loves it. He won't stop talking about it and thanking me for it. We love to sit on the back porch and light a fire and have a drink in the evenings. The fire instantly kept the mosquitoes away too.

Just returned from a family camping trip where we used our Solo stove for the first time. We were thrilled and amazed. We loved every single thing about our new stove: practically zero smoke or clean up,tons of heat, and we were almost hypnotized by the beautiful flames. We can’t stop talking about how neat it is and just bought another stove for our son’s birthday... lucky guy! You have to have one of these stoves, especially if you are a car camper or like to sit around a fire in you back yard.
