Greta fire pit. The Ranger is just the right size for 2-4 people. Amazing little to no smoke with 2nd burn. Glad to have it for our backyard. Travels well too

Perfect for a city deck!

We live in a city, and have a large deck without much of a yard. The Ranger is perfect for our needs. We bought the stand with it, and it stays very cool (we placed the stand on a paving stone just in case, but it stays cool enough to be safe on our wooden deck without the stone.) While I think "smoke free" is a pipe dream, the smoke is greatly reduced compared to standard pits. Very easy to light as well.

Bought one, had to buy another for a friend

I bought this stove for camping and other outdoor adventures. I love how easy it is to use and how efficient it is. Once the fire is going it burns hot with little to know smoke which is great with friends around the fire.
Such a great product I bought it for a friend. Highly recommend this fire pit for a great gift.

My Ranger arrive the week before Christmas and have used it several times already. We love it. Granted Arizona winters are mild, it add a nice touch to our new patio. Can't wait to try smores!

Cons:
The heat goes straight up. Really only an issue during cold winter fires, as the heat is straight above. The double walled style of the stove doesn't allow heat to radiate sideways. In the summer this will likely be awesome, but when it's 32° I'd prefer if I didn't have to hold my feet above the stove to keep them warm.
