We were so excited to get our Solo Ranger, we used it the night it arrived. It is the perfect size for our small patio. It burned clean and out kids loved sitting around the fire roasting marshmallows! So glad we purchased it.

Got the Ranger size for its portability. It works great. A few things you should know if selecting this size: Most firewood that you buy at the store will be too big to fit in either sideways, or standing up on end without being above holes at the top so I cut it all in half lengthwise. It smokes like a regular fire in the beginning until the unit gets to operating temp. Then the smoke is greatly reduced. It works best when it's kept pretty full. Lastly, I'm so glad I purchased with the stand. I use it on my wooden deck with no problems at all.

Been looking at it for 2 years now, I finally saw one in action and loved the way the wood burned. So I got one -- the kids love it. The wife loves it. I love it!! -- Can't believe I didn't buy this sooner.

Perfect Fire Pit for smoke sensitive people

This firepit was the perfect solution for my family to finally be able to enjoy being outside on the patio at night. I have two kids plus a wife that is sensitive to smoke, they always hate going to friends when there was a firepit running because of the intiial smoke from the fire itself and the smell that's brought back home with you and is impossible to get rid of without taking a shower and washing your clothes. This is the perfect solution, after finding the SoloStove we have found our perfect solution.
Great build, execution, customer support and extremely fast shipping. The only question is when I am going to be able to add the Bonfire to my collection.

Great for City backyard

Bought this for my back pad in the city, and it is perfect for it! Lightweight, small in size so easily put away in a closet and it burns wood so efficiently there are almost no ashes! You will need smaller wood chunks/logs than the standard size, so either buy chunk wood or be prepared to cut logs in half to fit. Other wise, it is perfect!
