After a lot of research and reviews I finally pulled the trigger on buying the Ranger Fire Pit. When I placed the order the Ranger was on a week backorder but I still placed the order and the optional top screen.
I was surprised when I received the Ranger two days later. I was excited to see the absolute fantastic packaging that the ranger came in. when I unpacked I was fascinated just how much care was taken in the packaging and when I removed the Ranger.... Wow!
The craftsmanship and perfection of the stainless steel and the design was way above what I could ever imagine!
I did not receive the stand or the top screen and got worried it was lost in shipping. I quickly sent out a email to Solo customer support that I was missing those parts. Within 12 hours I received a email with tracking numbers of those two items. Once again they arrived in two days from the Ranger and again WOW!
The detail and craftsmanship of the welds and fit were unbelievable!
The next night I set up the Ranger and prepared it as directed! I cut my seasoned wood in 8 inch chunks and placed a piece of crumbled paper followed by some small kindling and started the fire. I never saw a fire start so easy... Added some smaller chunks followed by some full size ones. In 15 minutes my wife and I both sat watching saying WOW! I never seen a fire burn so neat and controlled with the perfect flame... Yes and very little ( when starting) to virtually no smoke! We gazed at the fire as I continued to throw a few chunks in about every 45 minutes... The weather got cool but not around the Ranger. Next thing I knew we were making a couple of roasted hot dogs over the fire... They were the best roasted, dogs we ever ate!
Not sure how anyone could find fault with the amount of technology, craftsmanship, and final results of this product! My wife said I made a great decision and was very happy!
Our hats off to your company and your staff! We are sold and I am telling all of my friends about this product!

Safe for Family.

Great safety considerations for family with young children. Sturdy stature and ability to keep embers/sparks in with use of Ranger Shield were a must for us. Great to have all the accessories nest within itself under the protective Ranger Shelter is a spectacular feature.

Just the size I needed!

I live in a somewhat urban environment, with a small yard and off-street parking, and close neighbors. I've wanted a fire pit for years, but couldn't fathom how I could manage it given my space limitations. I was admiring a full-sized Solo Stove at a brewery and found myself browsing the website. Much to my surprise, I discovered Solo Stove comes in various sizes! I promptly ordered a Ranger, based on the description. When it arrived, my upstairs neighbor thought it would be too small. She quickly changed her tune when she felt the heat it gives off! It's perfect for the alleyway next to our apartment house. We've already spent quite a few evenings around the fire, and it's so easy to clean up--as it burns up most of the ash. Very satisfied!

My friend has the yukon, Its so awesome, I went home and orderes the ranger for myself, theres no smoke, and no smell on your clothes, I also love tbe juniper wood that I ordered as well

Perfect size

Contemplated buying the larger Bonfire model but opted for the Ranger instead. Glad we went with this size for the patio. It is sized perfectly and is very portable. It came with a carrying case to make packing to the beach very easy. Love the Ranger!

Solo Stove Ranger

Ranger is a great size for portability and a small backyard. Smoked a little at first, but not for very long. I think if you use a fires starter that would help. After that I never noticed any smoke. Overall I'm very pleased with the Ranger.
