Best purchase I’ve made in a while!

I took forever to make up my mind to buy this fire pit and all I can say now is “What the heck was I waiting for?”
The Ranger is the best size for my family. It’s perfect for the 3 of us to gather around and enjoy the flames. My daughter even enjoyed cooking her first open fire hotdog!
It really does burn clean with almost nothing left behind and producing almost no smoke.
The only downside is that it need smaller than average wood. Since most of my wood comes from deadfall in my yard, it wasn’t an issue to cut smaller pieces for the Ranger. When we head to the outer banks in August I’ll just take a handsaw with me to cut store bought wood down.
Learn from my wasted time. Don’t hesitate, just buy it!

We are loving our Ranger fire pit! While we debated between the ranger and the bonfire...we ultimately decided to go with the Ranger so we can take it along with us for tailgating, camping, etc. I was worried it might be a bit on the small side, but it's not at all! It's the perfect size for our deck and provides plenty of heat too! We've only had it for a week and have already enjoyed multiple s'mores and evening hangs by it.

Just received the solo ranger and have used it twice. Easy to start and just ash left for an easy cleanup. Should have ordered one a long time ago. Using my Ferro Rod fire steel and fire plugs to start the kindling. Good practice

Efficient, Nicely Size Firepit

We are very satisfied with the Ranger. As with all the Solo Stoves, the efficient burn with a durable stainless steel design is there. The size is perfect for car camping which is the main reason we bought it. The one caveat we ran into, and I waver on calling it a caveat, is that you have to be careful if you buy your firewood as the logs we had on hand were too long to nicely fit inside the unit. If you plan in advance or have the means to chop the wood to the right size, then it is not a problem. Otherwise the size is perfect. Works fantastically for s’mores... After you let the fire burn down a bit, you can just stick the marshmallows high over the center and get a perfect golden crust. Some of the easiest marshmallow roasting I’ve ever done.
Would recommend.

I read positive review after positive review and thought how good could this thing really be?
We never had a fire pit or went camping, so I needed something simple and small to fit on our “city” patio.
It is everything as described and more. We can easily move it around. It cools off quickly. And most importantly, we could actually get a fire going!
It’s a great way to get out of the house during the pandemic, social distance, and enjoy some s’mores.
