PERFECT for my townhouse!

I am definitely no camper, but I was looking for an option for my town home and was convinced I was going to purchase a propane fire pit since it would be smokeless and could be kept on a 10x10 patio. A friend suggested I look at Solo Stove and I'm so glad I did. It arrived very quickly and was really easy to set up. It sits on the end of my concrete patio only 10 ft from the house and it felt very safe. The concrete under the stand remained cool throughout its use. Except for some smoke during the first 5-10 minutes of lighting and heating up, there was virtually NO smoke coming off the fire. I sat near it for hours and was able to go in the house without smelling like a campfire. And my neighbors loved it!
Cleaning is simple too. Very little ash is left since it burns so hot and the Ranger is easy to turn upside down and empty. Comes with a storage bag so I can put the unit inside when not in use. Also, because it is easily portable, I'm looking forward to taking this with me to events where there is no fire pit option such as family/friends.
Anyone looking for a compact, safe, and virtually smoke free solution to a campfire in a small space should really consider the Ranger.

High Quality Portable Stove for Urban & Camping

High quality portable urban and camping stove or fire pit. Our primary use is to do smores at home and we live in a townhome with a large deck area. Since the stove, is lifted off the deck surface the heat doesn't affect or damage the surface. The stove is nearly smokeless and we haven't had any complaints from our neighbors. The key is to have your wood short enough in length to completely stay inside the diameter of the stove. If the wood is burning outside of the stove, above the top ring, obviously you will get much more smoke. I've been using 2X4's cut to around 10" in length and then also split them with a hatchet to make kindling. Works great!

We ordered our own after experiencing the one my uncles have! We are loving it. It’s small, convenient, and perfect for our yard, especially now that summer weather is here. Definitely planning on spending more time with our Ranger on!

Love our Ranger! I have wanted to get one for a couple of years. Finally got it and it did not disappoint. It fantastic! Perfect size to take camping. No smoke. So you don't have to play musical chairs to get away from the smoke. Beautiful also!

I now have every model Solo Stove manufactures apart from the Yukon and that will join the family once I save up for it. I also have the firesteels which are amazing. Great products, well made and work as described. Lighting a fire is a cinch and once these things get burning, they are an inferno. My Bonfire goes through logs as if they were paper so be prepared to be prepared! The Ranger is now our traveling companion for camping. Great products from a solid company with a lifetime warranty. What more can one ask for? They’re not inexpensive but I’ve been trough more than my share of lower priced “fire pits” which only tie out to be money burning pits. They rust out within a season or two at best,even with proper care. These are heavy gauge stainless and our Bonfire stays out year long at our cabin in the Catskills with no issues.
