Ranger is perfect for college-bound son!

I bought this as a gift for my son who is a senior in high school. COVID has made it all the more important to be outside to socialize, and the Ranger provides a great way for him and his friends to get together safely outside! Safer than an average bonfire, clean, portable, and easy for him to carry around in his car - he loves it and I'm sure it will serve him well next year in college as well!

Overall I really like my Ranger and look forward to using it more. My only frustration was that a standard cut piece of wood does not fit properly so I have to cut each piece before burning. I really wish I had know this before purchasing bc I probably would’ve gotten the bonfire instead.

Awesome stove. The efficiency of the stove is amazing. Very little ash remaining. We love the stove, and it would make a perfect gift for the holidays. The stainless steel materials are of good quality. Product delivers as promised, very little smoke, and little if no odor. However, we do miss the smell of burning oak. A good buy, and would buy again

Happy with the Ranger

Was apprehensive that the Ranger would be too small. It isn’t.
Right size for small patio space.
I have used it on 20 degree evenings.
Not a large radiating campfire but comfortable. Planning on many Wisconsin evenings by the Ranger this winter. No cabin fever for me!

Great little stove that will save winter!

We purchased the Ranger to have an additional heat source on the patio this winter. We figured it was most likely to only way we were going to be able to have limited contact with friends and neighbors. It has exceeded our expectations. It's very easy to light and puts out a good amount of heat. The only draw back is just a function of the size. We have to cut any wood we buy in half to fit in the stove. But that was to be expected. If I were to do it again I would spend the extra for the slightly larger Bonfire and eliminate the need to the wood.
