We are completely satisfied with the Ranger fire pit. We initially weren't sure if we should get the next size up (Bonfire) but decided to go with the Ranger due to the portability. We could not be happier after one use. The Ranger performed as advertised and exceeded our expectations. The clean up was simple and only a minimal amount of ash remained. Our family is looking forward to the next use. In addition, the shipping was very quick and we received the Ranger in under a week.

I wanted a fire pit for my backyard that doesn’t smoke a lot and has easy cleanup. The Ranger did not disappoint!! Perfect size, very little smoke and I was amazed at how efficient The Solo burns!! Just a small amount of ash to dump!! Defiantly would recommend!!

ranger fire pit

live in a townhouse community. needed something small that would contain an out of control flame and limit the smoke. safe to burn on wood deck using stand (sold separately). smoke was a tad bit greater then anticipated. that being said, after using it once we like it. only regret is not going with the bon fire size instead. overall, happy with my purchase.

Perfect Purchase

The ranger stove we purchased turned out to be perfect for our needs. My wife and I have been looking at various solo stoves for months off and on and never pulled the trigger on the purchase. After owning the ranger for over a month now my only regret is not buying one sooner. It has been perfect for sitting out behind our lake house when we wanted to enjoy the view without fighting smoke in our faces all night. It also packs in the included bag nicely which is going to come in handy for camping trips with our boys.

Spring cleanup

Just got a Ranger in time to help me with my spring yard cleanup - it made quick work of all those sticks, twigs, and branches from the trees that fell over the winter, and I had a nice fire to enjoy.

Was looking for a small fireplace for our outside patio. This little stove is awesome. Have spent countless hours outside with the kids roasting marshmallows and cooking hotdogs. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Great for City backyard

Bought this for my back pad in the city, and it is perfect for it! Lightweight, small in size so easily put away in a closet and it burns wood so efficiently there are almost no ashes! You will need smaller wood chunks/logs than the standard size, so either buy chunk wood or be prepared to cut logs in half to fit. Other wise, it is perfect!

The Ranger is absolutely perfect for our patio home. We can use on our covered deck and our back deck! No smoke for the neighbors to have deal with! It’s great!
