Works beautifully

I ordered the Ranger and was unsure about the size. Turns out it’s perfect for myself and my lady. I like it without the top ring on it. It seems to throw more heat that way. As far as smoke goes, if you keep your wood short enough to stay below the rim it there is very little smoke but I will say it ain’t that big a deal if you throw a longer piece in there and it pokes up a bit. And here’s a pro tip: order the lid and hang it off the back of a chair or on a metal pole next to the fire for a perfect heat reflector. It’s also handy to be able to just drop the lid on top at the end of the night and not have to worry about the fire being completely out. Enjoy!

Bought when they first came out and use it all the time. No smoke, no ash, easiest and safest fire pit out there. Have since convinced 4 others to purchase rangers or bonfires. Amazing product

Best firepit ever

We purchased our ranger firepit for our beachhouse. We wanted a small and portable unit that we could bring out on the sand. The idea that these produce limited smoke was the selling point for us as the beach can be windy and no one wants to be choking on smoke when the wind shifts. It has been the perfect size for us - 4 people can easily gather around - and it keeps us toasty. Love it!

I didn't think I would like it this much. The ranger put out a lot of heat and minimal, to no smoke. No more moving out chairs to avoid getting smoked out. Now we're looking at the Yukon for home.
