A campsite must-have!

After a number of unpleasant, smoky, sputtering, campfires trying to use the campground provided fire rings, we decided to try the Solostove Bonfire. It has far exceeded our expectations! No more doing the campfire shuffle trying to avoid the shifting smoke, no more fear of smoking out the downwind neighbors. This thing is amazing! Once it gets going (which it does in record time) there’s nothing but bright flames and excellent radiant heat. All evening spent around the Bonfire and we could barely tell when we put our jackets back on the next morning- no more smoke saturated clothes! We couldn’t be happier with our purchase.
So far in two weekends of use, 5 other camping families have stopped by our fire to ask what we were using. They were all struggling with their bonfires like we had in the past. Of course, we highly recommended picking up a Solostove. Hopefully we’ve helped sell a few more. Thanks Solostove!

Loving my new firepit

I can finally have a nice fire one my patio without closing all of the windows in my house. In the past I had built a granite block fire pit 50 feet away from the house, the smell of smoke was terrible. The residue left at the bottom of the pit was a mess. Now my pit is outside my door and all of those problems are solved. Easy cleaning in the morning and I put a glass table top online it for an added feature

Exceeded expectations!

Burned my first fire in this last night, and I was surprised at how easy it was to start one. I put in one bundle of wood, and I could have fit a second bundle in there. The curve at the bottom meant that my 15" pieces didn't fit in as far as I thought they would, so I had to wait for the fire to work a little so I had room to throw on my grill basket.
I ended up removing a stick of wood before it caught, and the rest of the bundle was way more fuel than I needed for my cooking! A word of advice, thought not designed for cooking, it's pretty easy to use as long as you don't put in too much fuel at one time.
This thing is like an after burner! Nothing but a cubic inch of charcoal remains from my bundle. Heat output the whole time was great, even when we got down to a small amount of wood left.
I'm very happy with my purchase. I got the tools as well, and was not disappointed...they are so much nicer than what I had, bigger than the picture makes them look.
Finally I read some mentions of the ring that you can get for the bottom not fitting into anything and sliding off — mine seems to be different, as the ring does set in a definite position. It also came in the box with the stove, so maybe they are working on making that standard (to address another complaint that I read).

This beautiful thing is amazing!! It beautiful to look at without getting smoke in your eyes!! It’s a big win for my family plus your clothes will not smell as much or at all. Can’t get over the beauty of it from the stainless finish to the glorious flames and to the many memories it will create for my family. Great job guys!!

Absolutely amazing!

Stop reading this review and just buy one! Got our solo stove bonfire today and it’s perfect! It took two minutes to take out of the box and set up, another couple of minutes to get the wood situated inside (we did two big logs on the bottom, a couple medium size in the middle and small twigs and some dryer lint on top), and then we lit it and were off to the races. Within 5 minutes we had a good fire going with virtually no smoke. My wife and kids loved it and no one smelled like they had been sitting around a campfire when it was time to go inside! This was probably the first fire my wife has enjoyed in her life. Buy! Buy! Buy! 5 STARS!!!!!

Bonfire

We love our Bonfire Fire Pit. We use it every chance we get. We like the size of the Bonfire for home and it's a good size to bring in our RV. It really does not smoke much at all. Only a little when getting started.
