We were so excited to try this because of all the wonderful reviews... It was purchased for our rental property (cabin) & I will be returning it today. We tried several different types of wood & each time the burning wood particles popped out and hit us and almost burned our deck (continuously). The outside of it is just as hot as the fire, my niece almost got sever burns from just walking by it. I can see how this works great for an adult while camping but I do not recommend this for a rental property or on a deck. Very disappointed to have to return it.

I love the quality of the bonfire, it’s a great item that will last years. I plan to also use it as an open top grill with a 22” grill I picked up for it. Buy this and you will never regret it.

My wife and I used our Bonfire for the first time this weekend and we can say we are in love with it. We didn't smell like smoke afterwards and we were able to use it right on the grass of our camping spot (we had the ring for it). We can't wait to use it on our next camping trip.

Used it twice and just love it, I only wish you had a lid to put over its top when your ready to call it a night for added comfort that no lingering amber doesn’t escape. But the bonfire is great

Best fire pit I’ve ever owned! The fire, honestly, really does produce less smoke and burns more efficiently. The Bonfire is light enough to pick up to dump ash and also to store away out of the elements. I’ve had many great nights with the Bonfire Solo Stove!
