I am a backpacker so naturally I love building a fire, but I bought this for something easy and elegant at home. No more fighting the wind to get the fire going, transportable anywhere, and best of all, it truly does burn EVERYTHING. Dump out ash and cleanup is done. The carrying case is actually very nice and comes in handy. Buying several more as gifts. Worth every penny.

Love my Bonfire. Its only 20 lbs and I can take it anywhere. It’s the perfect gathering tool for friends and man it gets hot and stays hot! Love the fact that it doesn’t produce too much smoke and burns really clean!

I got one for our country property. As advertised, generates a great fire. Very warm, lots of radiant heat coming off of it and pretty much no smoke once it gets going. As they say, it has to heat up to get the air flow going up and out the sides. We burned oak logs and branches in it and started it with some sticks and corrugated cardboard. It left behind very little ash.

Favorite Backyard Activity

My partner and I bought this for our backyard (and possible future car camping trips). We are so so happy with this product! Super easy to put together, throw some logs on, and you have a nice warm bonfire in no time. The best part is, with good wood there's hardly any smoke at all but it's still quite warm to sit by! No more musical chairs to avoid huge wafts of thick smoke. This has already become an integral part of our evenings.

Totally awesome

We have a deck built in the back yard and was looking for a fire-type pit to put on it. The Solo was one of the best investments we made. Once I get it started (been a while since boy scouts), it really is very non-smoky and puts off a TON of heat. We were out in 40 degree temperature and stayed plenty warm with 6 of us around it. The kids love the s'mores they make. We got the bottom stand and it stays cool to the touch, so we could put it on the deck without causing any damage which is awesome.
Don't get a crappy big-box store fire pit like I did a few years ago: used it twice before it fell apart. Get a Solo and enjoy it forever.

smoke free fun

I recently purchased the bonfire model. My father is terminally ill and unable to travel to his favorite spot at the beach. But we were able to setup the bonfire in front of his house and have a bit of beach experience. We enjoyed a cigar by the fire and chatted for a few hours. The solo stove put out tons of heat and little smoke as advertised.
