Worked well

I had a chemenia for years which finally broke. I looked at alternative and found Solo via Instagram ad. I was skeptical of all the great reviews. While expensive, it really works well. Logs burn completely and it provides great warmth. I like be able to move it around to other areas. Worth it. It does immediately tarnish which is OK for me.

Exceeded Expectations

Neighbors and friends will find us year round out on our patio. Fans in the summer and fire pits in the winter. We have gone through about 3 fire pits and have played musical chairs with the smoke for all three. The last one lost one of the legs and we called it quits and bought a butane fire pit. It is good for mildly chilly weather but doesn't put out enough heat for a real cold evening. Read the reviews about the Solo fire pit and even while thinking it was to good to be true, we were eager to get back outside during the colder evenings and with fingers crossed, put in an order. We have been amazed with the ease, quickness, hotness, and burn quality of the fire and have not once changed chairs due to smoke. It truly has exceeded our expectations and provided us with a roaring hot fire to enjoy once again with friends and neighbors.

Best fire pit EVER!

I have been so impressed with the Bonfire Fire Pit that I have bought 2 for gifts for family members and preordered the Yukon (keeping my current Bonfire too). I use the Bonfire several times a month. I highly recommend this product.

Not for colder areas

Not smokeless but 90% of time there is very little, burns wood easily and starts easy with little tinder and keeps burning. Only problem I have with it is that all the heat is above the rim. You will be cold below the knees. I live in a very northern state and wanted heat. Nice summer fire pit though.

As Good As Advertised

The Solo Stove Bonfire is as good as advertised. The secondary fire at the top is very cool to look at and once it is going, no soot comes out. I didn't have to wash my clothes after due to "firepit" smell! Great Product!

Excellent Product

I ordered the solo stove bonfire to take along for camp fires while camping in our travel trailer. I bought it because of the hope that I could light fires easier, and of course in hopes that it really did reduce the amount of smoke the fire produces.
The first time I tried it, I accidentally left my wood out in the rain. Any other camp fire with this wood would have been really smokey.
The solo stove proved extremely easy to light, and after heating up, the wood burned so purely, even damp, it produced a LOT less smoke than a normal campfire.
My whole family, who originally couldn't understand why I wanted a solo stove, was so impressed, and even wanted to use it when we got back home.
If there were anything to improve upon, it would be to have a lid available for purchase, so that I could leave it out in the rain. I'd love for this to be my standing fire pit.
