First time out of the box we used the fire pit stove at our tailgating party up in the Northeast on a cold chilly November evening. Everyone in our party and walking by our party were so impressed with the heat and operation of the solostove. New England winters and tailgate parties have met their match.

Great stove had the chance to compare to a home made washing machine tub on legs of the same size or close. And the heat was very similar loaded with wood except lack of smoke from the solo bonfire. Burns very clean and hot

Nice surprise

A few months ago I purchased the Solo Bonfire and was very nervous due to some reviews complaining about rust. What I realized is that as long as you clean it the very next morning and cover the Bonfire with the cover it came with that there has been zero rust. The stove has patina beautifully. It burns the wood to powder ash and you and your guest do not smell as you have been at a campfire. I did put the stove on two concrete pavers to keep the stove off the cement patio just to ensure the stove does not touch water.
It is a show piece for sure as we sit outside relaxing.

The Bonfire is AWESOME!!!! Easy to start and the fire stays hot. Very little smoke and a beautiful fire when roaring. We love our Solo Bonfire.

1) Its not completely "smokeless" , but there is incredible reduction in smoke and periodically produces no smoke at all (smokeless is impossible)
2) Incredible easy to light especially in strong winds
3) Burned 2 hours on only 3 splits of wood
4) With only embers left, immediately lit log when thrown in
5) Size is perfect for being transportable but still large enough for 10 people
6) Carry bag really durable and high quality

Bought this to carry around in my camper. We were able to use it one weekend. The campground wood was a little wet which caused quite a bit of smoke. However, when the wood was dry and the flames got going, the smoke was not noticeable. It really puts off a lot of heat. We were able to stay comfortable in damp >50 degree weather. The carrying bag seems to be really high quality as well. Really impressed all the way around.
