Solo stove Bonfire

So I used my bonfire for the 1st time yesterday, I was not disappointed. Didn't have very seasoned wood or kindling, but I tore up some cardboard and chopped up some wood I had and threw a match in. Very little effigy to get the fire going, once it was alight, hardly any smoke just lots of pretty dancing flames. A remarkable piece of engineering, so happy I got it. I highly recommend it.

I’ve only used my new bonfire once, but it isn’t everything I was hoping it would be. Excellent burn and extremely efficient. It was a cold night in the mountains and everyone was toasty warm around the fire. I highly recommend this fire pit!

This pit is great!

I find reviews that start with "I never review products but" a little annoying..Well, I never review products but this fire pit is great. I have had it for a year now and it is exactly what I wanted it to be. It's portable and I can place it anywhere in my yard. I do want to say something about the "smokeless feature", it all depends on your wood. Look, wood that is wet or not "Kiln dried" will smoke. My kids find random twigs and leaves, throw them in the pit, and yes they smoke. If you get wood from big box stores, never get the ones that are stored outside, they will be wet, and yes, they will smoke. Find the ones that are stored indoors and look for ones that don't have any bark and look really dried out and you will see a huge difference. A word of warning, when you get the really dried out wood, they will burn real fast, so get as many as you can because you will go through faster than you think and enjoy the pit.

Well made. Burns efficiently. Not as smokeless as advertised. Will be keeping it.

Bonfire

I was pleasantly surprised at how fast a full roaring fire is produced. Plenty of heat and no smoke observed. Have plenty of wood around as this bonfire burns it quickly.

Solo Stove Bonfire
on October 15, 2018

This past saturday we finally broke out the bonfire for a backyard tailgate we hosted. Needless to say, it was a huge success. I had my old fire pit running side by side with the solo stove bonfire and it was amazing to see the difference. No smoke. Great heat. Used less wood than the old fire pit. It was hit and I can't wait to use it again. I would recommend this for anyone who enjoys being outside around a fire.

Awesome Compact Bonfire

This is a great bonfire. It is so easy to start - just 1 or 2 pieces of fatwood and some logs. The smoke is so much less than a regular fire. We have a tiny backyard and this makes bonfires possible for us. It is smoky when it first starts but after about 5 minutes it really is virtually smoke free. We love it!

Worth the money
on October 19, 2018

After 1 year, and about a dozen times used, I can say that it is worth the money. No rust. Quick to get a fire going. The only smoke is in the first couple of minutes. I have used it mostly on camp outs. I cut a couple pieces of square edged steel conduit, and have cooked on a steel plate on top of it (once most of the flames have died down). Only suggestion is to add a couple of loops so that it can be moved when hot.
