Fast start

Seems to be very well built and a good design. Very quick to get a good fire started because of the airflow. Great for small get togethers with 4-6 people.

Solo bonfire first outing

As a family, we like s’more at the cabin. We had caught a bunch of sunnie’s earlier in the day. We pulled out the bonfire and lit it. Our wet wood slowed things a bit, but it did produce a nice high fire and heat. We found an old grill and thought one the sunnies. Had to use the perimeter because the center was too hot. They turned out great! Later, when we wanted s’mores, the coals were just right for that. All in all, it worked great for us. I just dumped out the ashes the next morning and we are ready to do it again.

Don’t hesitate to buy

I’ve used my stove a few times at home since buying but just spent a week camping with it.
Long story short- BUY IT!! No more musical chairs at the camp fire trying to avoid the smoke, much more efficient (I.e. burns much less wood), and everyone from 5 cabins said “Where can I get one?”.

Long time coming

We’ve waited a long time, I mean years, to enjoy the back area of our home. This summer we’ve put in a new driveway and patio and the first thing we bought was a SoloStove! We had a couple test runs witb just hubby and me, but last night we had our friends over and it was exactly the kind of night I envisioned! We hung out next to the fire all night and we didn’t bring any smoke smell into our house afterwards.. my clothes didn’t smell! My eyes never burned and we didn’t have to keep moving around to avoid smoke in our faces. We’re very impressed!!

Expectations were exceeded, and my guests loved it!

I expected the fire to be less than what I saw in pictures, because that's always the way it works with advertising. Well, this is the first product where my expectations were exceeded. Not only was the fire awesome, but there was so little ash left over from the fire last night, I was actually doubly surprised. And to add the third surprise, we had the fire going from about 4:30pm until 10pm, everyone was sitting within a few feet of the fire, and absolutely no one had to move the entire night because of smoke because there was none. I'm serious, none. Literally, this product does exactly as advertised. I am genuinely impressed. Nice job, solostove team!

Smokeless family time

But Im worried about the ash screen not being thick enough. I noticed it is warped after 2 burns.
