Wonderful New Idea

I first saw this reviewed in the weekend Wall Street Journal and the reviewer really liked it...so I ordered one. It goes beyond the WSJ review in terms of quality, practical use, and impressive heat. It is akin to a yuppie portable bonfire that can be shared by a number of people. The one small drawback is if you are transporting it...after using it will remain hot causing a delay in returning home. If you use it at home on a deck or patio then you're home free...no problem.

So perfect for smaller areas!

Our home was purchased with a fire pit in place. There were way too many steps to actually enjoy it easily and quickly on the spur of the moment. The solo stove now sits closeto our deck. We don’t have to move or maneuver any steps. And it puts out the most beautiful fire. It is perfect for late night dinners. Have to say it is almost smoke less!

Used it this past weekend for the first time. Worked exactly as described. The swirling flames were a hit with everyone. I'm sure a few more will be ordered by friends. The heat coming off was perfect. Had no smoke and hardly anything was left after it burned out. Great product!! Also was very efficient, very little wood used during the evening.

Bonfire Works Great

Bonfire worked as advertised and it didn’t take long to burn every inch of wood to ash. Then the metal fire pit cooled quickly. One wish I have is for a metal handle that would insert into the air holes to assist in pouring out the ash. The stove is fairly obtuse and heavy making it unweildly to overturn.

Had my first burn yesterday. Great design, really good efficient burn, and relatively low smoke as described. I would definitely buy again to gift to my discriminating outdoorsy sister.

A good friend joined me for Kentucky Derby weekend. We used my Bonfire three nights in a row. He was amazed by the lack of smoke and kept saying " I have to get one of these for my backyard." So, I ordered one for his backyard. He is happily using it and I made a good buddy happy.

Really is Smokeless

Purchased the Solostove Bonfire for use in the backyard along with a little camping use. I was skeptical but hopeful because the only thing my wife hates about having a fire is "smelling like a bonfire". All I can say this this product really does live up to the hype. It is amazing how you have no trace of smoke on your clothes or hair. You know how you get a fresh blast of the smoke smell when you are washing your hair after you have been by a fire? Not with the Solostove, this thing is amazing and my wife would give it 5 stars.
