Perfect gift

This was a perfect gift for my son. He has been wanting this for several years. It is everything that he thought. It doesn’t produce a lot of smoke to everyone sitting around it. He fills that it even brings his family of seven closer together because of the solo bonfire. I am even thinking of getting one as I never know where to sit to get away from the smoke. Thank you, thank you for making such a great product.

Excellent Product - Performs as Promised!

Have had the bonfire model for about 8 months now. Very happy!! Performs as described, easy to maintain and burns a beautiful entertaining fire!! If you want a campfire but can't build a fire pit, this is the solution!! Will get the smaller model for the RV and take the experience on the road!

I really like thoughtful minimalist styling utilizing stainless steel. I really wish you would make a cover for it as we live in Portland and there is a lot of rain so being able to simply drop one on would be great.

Almost perfect

We received the Bonfire last week and fired it up this weekend. It smokes a lot when you are starting the fire, but of course this is the nature of any campfire/bonfire. After the fire takes and the larger splits start to burn, it appears to be nearly smokeless and generates a crazy amount of heat. This is where there could be one improvement that I'll mention shortly. The fire burns cleanly and appears to use the fuel more efficiently than you would see in a standard firepit/campfire/etc., and of course it looks amazing. The swirling flames were mesmerizing. It was interesting to watch the stove change colors as the heat distributed and the overall temperature increased. What started off as silvery turned golden with the heat.
The only change I would make would be some sort of removable ring with handles that could be used to move the firepit while it is still hot. It started to rain a little at the end of our fire, but we were unable to pull the stove under the cover of our porch to protect it from getting wet. This seems like a design concern that could be easily addressed. A slight lip at the top combined with a ring that could slip up from the bottom might work, or possibly magnetic handles you could attach to the hot stove, move it, then detach.
The handle issue aside, I would buy this again in a heartbeat. It works wonderfully.

Great Product

The bonfire saved our weekend. We went camping on a cold, windy weekend in which a normal campfire would of turned the entire campground into embers. We used our bonfire all day and keep us telling lies over the fire instead of sitting in the camper all weekend.

Most impressive

A friend of mine had purchased this and seeing it in action I was convinced to buy it. I have a huge pile of wood from a pepper tree we chopped down a few years ago. The wood is difficult to burn and smokes a lot more than other types of wood but I had plenty of of it. The Solo Stove bonfire does an amazing job with even this type of wood. Compared to our old traditional fire pit, the solo stove bonfire burned the wood more thoroughly and with a lot less smoke. My wife has asthma and generally avoids the fire pit because of all the smoke it produces. With the solo stove bonfire though, she can now tolerate it. Very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it.

Awesome

This stove is awesome, I was worried at first when reading about this stove....should I buy it...well I did, and I gave it the first test this last weekend. There was a small amount of smoke at the start of the fire, but that it was minimal, the heat that this stove put out was great, even for a cold new england evening. The ash clean up the next day was minimal. This is a great product and would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about it, you will not be sorry. The only thing i recommend is using log or split wood, using some of my scrap wood ( 2x4, and finish pine) did produce some popping and ash sparks to fly out, but that doesnt change my review of this amazing stove.

Bonfire is Fantastic

We love the size & portability of the bonfire! Just crumpled a few pages of newspaper, a little kindling, firewood, lit the paper and have a great fire pit without all the smoke. Nothing but ash left after it burns so cleanup is as easy as turning it over to empty them out!
