Smoke less

I think if you touted less smoke than smokeless, it would be a more realistic expectation. There is plenty of smoke as you start the fire, as I realized when I went back in the house and realized I smelled of smoke (which I was trying to avoid). However, once started, there is absolutely no wafting of smoke like other fire pits and that is a huge plus.
One negative is when you’re married to a firefighter, the sparks that fly up cause great stress, so the spark arrester should be included in the purchase. I think the price of the screen being half the cost of the solo stove is just wrong. Sorry so critical, but this might be why I might return it.

Love our Bonfire!

We received our Solo Stove Bonfire as a holiday gift, and we LOVE it! Even when it produces large flames it's very contained and has very little smoke. It's so easy to set up, to use and to clean up. Plus, it looks great, too. We have already begun to create special family memories making s'mores in our backyard, and we're excited for more fun with the Bonfire yet to come.

Love at first fire!

The solo bonfire has changed everything about how I enjoy my backyard and bonfires! I no longer fear smelling like smoke or bothering my neighbors. It's attractive, efficient and my family and friends enjoy it as much as I do.

Great stove

This stove is super sleek and stylish. It is also very functional. We love having real fires at our campsites but hate being chased by smoke. This little stove is the best of both worlds. We can sit and enjoy a real fire without all the smoke. We highly recommend trying it out.

Clean burning fire pit

I received my Bonfire pit a few days ago. It came in one box and simple assembly. Just remove from the box and install the top ring, can’t get easier than that! Fire starting instructions were easy to follow, pretty much like with starting any campfire; kindling, small logs, then move on to larger. The fire started quickly, but what’s amazing is the lack of smoke and the amount of heat put out by the Bonfire. We were outside about 3 hours and only burned about 6 sticks of wood. The efficiency of the secondary burn s great. It maximized heat, minimized wasted fuel and no smoke chasing everyone around in musical chairs. Finally when we allowed the fire to burn down and the pit to cool(it didn’t take long) there was just a small amount of ash to empty. Our friends were very impressed and envious of the efficiency. I wasn’t certain if this product would deliver, but now I’m sold. Great experience and great product.

A blessing during Quarantine

We got our Bonfire a few weeks ago and it has been such a blessing during quarantine. It allows us to warmly sit outside as a family of 5 or visit with friends outside at a distance in the cold Chicago weather. It certainly is a bright spot in this dark winter.
