We absolutely love our Solo Bonfire! It’s the Goldilocks of the range, not to big and not too small. Burn super clean and generates plenty of heat for the whole family.

No more wasted breath

My first time using my new bonfire and I was blown away! Well actually I didn’t have to blow to get it going which is amazing! I have made camp fires for 30 years and I am quite good at it, can get a fire going pretty much anywhere. I was not expecting the fire pit to take one paper on fire and basically take that and catch everything in there in less than a minute. AMAZING! First use is still going but love it so far.

I was skeptical of the smokeless claim but once the stove is burning with high heat the smoke is nonexistent. It burns fast but puts out great heat.

Beautiful design

We enjoy the beauty of the Bonfire and also the ease of lighting and excellent radiant heat. We were disappointed that it didn't live up to the claim of, "The world’s favorite smokeless fire pit." as touted on the website. We have used "chunk" wood, well seasoned oak, pecan, etc. and followed the manufacturer's guidelines for burning, and although there is much less smoke than similar products, it is not smokeless. I would still recommend the product, however.

Just the right size!!!

I love my new Bonfire! I had the good fortune that a friend of mine owns the Ranger and two of the smaller Solo camp stoves. I really liked my friend's Ranger but wanted a unit that could readily burn "average" sized chopped wood and logs, which the Ranger could not quite handle. The Bonfire was the perfect choice for me because it is still relatively portable but is big enough to burn just about anything you want to burn. It may take a few minutes longer to really start to put out the beautiful flames compared to the Ranger, but once it starts, it just keeps going until you stop feeding it. The flame patterns are hypnotic and beautiful, the heat output is great for keeping a group of 5+ people from getting cold, and it burns everything down all the way. No waste and easy to clean and transport. Can't wait to use it on the beach this summer!

Magical Product

This is a magical product it’s like the gentrified version of a bum fire and hey it works as advertised. Wood burning with very little smoke, which means I don’t smell like smoke! Would buy another maybe for camping and would buy as a gift.
