I always resisted, but when I learned about solo stove I bought one for her birthday. It is a beautifully made product, well engineered, and produces a great fire. If you build the fire properly, one match is all it takes. She's very happy.

Well worth the wait!

Purchased my Bonfire in November and received on Christmas Eve. Despite how cold it was I decided I needed to fire it up. It came completely assembled with instructions on how to light your first fire ( not complicated) and I fired it right up.
My first observation is that it was very easy to light based on the design. Wind does not really impact it which is important for where I live. After firing it up the way that it burns is really cool. the flames seem to swirl inside up of it. It gives off a lot of heat too!
Two of my favorite things are 1. It is easy to clean out (literally dump it into a pail) and it also seems very cool on the bottom. Unlike my other fire pit that seemed to burn the grass or surface beneath it, this one seems very cool.
I also want to add that the stainless finish is a thick gauge and high quality.
I know it is a little more expensive than other fire pits but now that I have it I can see that it is 100% worth it!
