This made the perfect birthday gift for my husband. Our family gathered around it on our back patio over the holidays. We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows with no smoky hair or clothes. It was super easy to set up and get going.

The best

I wanted a firepit for my backyard. I looked at so many. Chiminea, building one, and many others. I wanted something portable not to small and one that was build well. I found it. I love my solo fire pit. It is perfect. I have also bought the solo sticks and I am getting the grate. I am also ordering the cover. It is the best!!! I highly recommend. I also like that I can take it to the beach. Proudly made in the USA. ❤

Great for winter gatherings

The stove has been great for socially distanced gatherings on the deck this winter. Flame ring not sitting perfectly flat after first firing, but that doesn’t seem to impact performance too much.

Exceeds Expectations

I bought the Bonfire primarily out of curiosity. I figured it had to be better than my rusty old fire pan, even if only aesthetically. I mean, how much better could a Solo be than, well, a fire. Boy, did I underestimate it. First of all - it's a cakewalk to light - once your kindling is going everything else is going to burn like a disco inferno. The airflow is so well-designed that even when down to coals, a fresh log ignites spontaneously. Second, while the heat does mostly go up instead of out, it is hotter than vintage Cindy Crawford (or Brad Pitt, dealer's choice). Once it is cracking, the secondary combustion from the aeration holes not only reduces the smoke significantly, but also ensures a beautiful flame above the rim. I bought a base ring, but I'm pretty sure I could set this directly on my flagstone without scarring my patio - the heat goes straight up. Cleanup is a cinch, too - the combustion is so efficient that the next morning nothing is left but dust. The only downside is that I'm going through a ton of wood these days, because I enjoy the fires so much!

We Love It!

A friend came to visit today as we fired up our Bonfire for the first time. We were expecting to like it but we really love it. Even with a nominal amount of wood to try it out for the first burn, we were all amazed at how beautiful the fire and secondary burn are.
