All in on my Solo Stove Bonfire
on December 30, 2020

I purchased my Solo Stove Bonfire on a whim as my propane gas outside table broke last year. I will never go back to a propane firepit again. This Solo Stove is so easy to use and gives off way more heat than my old firepit. The flames don't produce smoke that goes in your face and your clothes won't smell after use. The Solo Stove is beautiful to sit around in addition to the comfort it provides. This is the real deal!!! I love it.

This was 100% the best purchase for my new home. It has allowed me to enjoy my new backyard and socialize with friends safely. The Bonfire is light enough that I can easily transport it in the handy case to friends' yards. I only wish the newly developed lid were included in the order!

I purchased the Solo Stove as a Christmas gift for my parents. They absolutely love it! Took it out of the box and immediately had it up and running. Their favorite Christmas gift ever.

awesome ... for many reasons

As advertised, the solo stove rocks. We used to use a typical "Greek shield" fire pit: a shallow, bronze bowl resting on a stand. While reasonably adept at fire tending, I found my options with a traditional fire pit were a) towering inferno; or b) smoldering, smoky mess. The former was too much of a fire risk in our neighborhood and the latter smoked out our guests and left a collection of partly-burned wood to clean up the next day. In contrast, the solo stove burns hot enough that you can add however much wood you want - pile it on for a bonfire or add one log at a time to maintain a smaller burn. Its burning efficiency leads to much less smoke (once you get it going), but the benefits don't stop there. Whether you opt for inferno or a smaller burn, everything you add will burn to ash with very little fire tending. We've used the stove 5-6 times this fall and look forward to some winter fire pit time with our new s'more-ready roasting sticks. (Thank you, Santa.) Note 1: it might seem obvious, but be warned the Solo Stove gets hot -- much hotter than I expected. I had to move it once and could feel the heat through my Ove Gloves. Note 2: we use the Bonfire (medium size stove) with the stand (good), tools (good length), and wood/stove rack (great). We considered, but have not used, the lid or shelter (opted for the rack) or the shield (so far haven't felt it necessary). Enjoy!

I've waited two years too long to get this. It starts easy, smoke is like non-existent and it looks nice too. Only downside is I'm hosting bonfires all the time now. ;-)

Nice stove

Very convenient, easy to move around. Super easy to get a fire going. Gives good heat. Does limit smoke, not quite as magical as they market it - your clothes are still going to smell - but certainly a major improvement on the average fire pit. Dinged one star because it was marketed as though you can safely put it on any reasonable surface...when I put it on a stone patio it discolored it slightly. Not that big a deal and I bought a little fireproof mat to solve the problem, but made me question just how well the marketing department knows the product!

We love our Bonfire! After our first use, immediately ordered one for our son-in-law, with no hope of actually receiving it by Christmas. We were thrilled to actually receive it in time, and HE was thrilled too! Thank you!

Great fire

Bottom line, The solo stove makes backyard fire building simple and fun.
Fires are easy to start because of the excellent ventilation. Add some dry wood, and in about 5 minutes you’ll have a fire worth bragging about. Later in the fire, the secondary burn starts to work, which adds another element of fun to the whole thing.
Lots of heat. Easy burn. Portable. What’s not to love.
