I've had this product for a couple of months now and have used it many times. I suppose it's nice due to its portability and an easy clean up.
However, the claim of "nearly no smoke" is way off. This product produces a very constant stream of smoke with only one log. I don't see much of a difference in this and anything else I've used regarding smoke production. Clothes still smell and smoke still gets in my face.
The fire is hot when standing directly over it but don't expect to get any heat from it sitting even 2 feet away.
Like I said, the size and mobility is nice but other than that it's nothing special.
Not sure where all the 5 star reviews are coming from. Maybe my pit is faulty.

Handle it with care.

I am completely satisfied with the product. It does what it says. I bought 2 of them and have used them at least 10 times so far. I would suggest you add a handle to make moving them easier and the bag a tad bigger for ease of bagging.

Perfect for RV travel life

I've been waiting to post a review until I've had a chance to use the Bonfire a few times. The verdict is its fantastic, yes its a little expensive but its worth every penny. It's very well built and works just as they say it does. We live full time in an RV for work and we really wanted to have a portable fire pit to enjoy while we travel. Its easy to use, easy to clean and very portable. We've even started using it to cook and grill with and it works great! If you are considering buying one don't hesitate, you won't regret it.

Love our Solo Bonfire

We bought a Solo Bonfire to augment our RV/Camping experience. There are too many places where having a campfire is a great thing and the Solo Bonfire is an awesome vehicle. The double wall construction and air holes turn all wood to ash. The fire cannot get out of control and all that's left is ash (no coals). However, due to fire regulations in many counties where RV and campgrounds are located, only "covered" fire pits are allowed. Unfortunately, the Solo Bonfire is an open fire pit without a cover and not useful in any of these locations. I recommend that the company consider manufacturing a removable cover that complies with these fire regulations. I can understand the concern of embers flying and igniting vegetation (thus the need for a cover). Even the Solo Bonfire spies out occasional embers, as the hole in my camp chair seat can confirm. Until such a cover is available, I will search for a substitute or make one myself.

Love is in the air!

I used my Solo for the first time Thanksgiving night. Everyone raved about how awesome it was. I was so impressed with little to no smoke. So instead of smoke in the air we had love in the air with friends and family all gathered around the Solo. Thank you for a 100% amazing product!!!! Mark

Best fire pit out there!

The best fire pit I have purchased hands down! Of course there is smoke when first starting but once the fire gets going there is virtually no smoke and this thing burns hot! I’ve never had a fire with logs that can continually hold a blue flame like this can! The flames look like liquid fire and I can stare at it for hours!

Was looking to replace my old school rusty fire pit and found this. I have a backpacking stove that works in a similar manner so I knew this would be a very efficient burner. Being made from 304SS I don't have to worry about it rusting out. I thought it would warp out of shape but it has proven to be made very well. It produces very little smoke and burns hot which is great. My only complaint is the lack of handles, but that is overcome by using their included carry case. I'm very happy with this purchase. Hopefully they make a grill top for those wanting to roast/cook stuff above those hot embers.
