Solo Stove Bonfire

Used this product twice now and I am very impressed. Performs as stated. It truly produces very little smoke, after it gets going, and completely burns the wood with hardly any ash. Because of no smoke you can use it close to areas that would otherwise be affected by the smoke. Suggestions to Solo: come up with an ash removal system and a screen or grill option that goes over the top to allow for putting a pot on or just for peace of mind when unattended. FYI, I have used a plastic garbage can lid to collect the ashes when you are sure the fire is out. Empty the ashes into the lid and then empty the lid into a garbage bag. Make sure the lid diameter is bigger than the stove diameter. Great product.

A MOST ENJOYABLE EVENING!

I've been looking for a fire-pit for years but never found the quality I was hoping to find. Then I saw an AD for Solo Bonfire and I knew instantly this was the one. The delivery came about 5:30 pm and I could not wait for the sun to go down. Easily lit my first fire and enjoyed the evening (no tv, no internet, no depressing news) just a full moon and beautiful stars in the sky. It was like a mini vacation and got to sleep in my own bed. Wow!!! Thank you sooo very many ch!!! I LOVE the solo stove!!!!! Received as a gift from The Talk. We've had the traditional pan type stove. Your unique solo bonfire stove is Perfect!!! Smoke doesn't get in your face. Burns wood completely with minimal turning LOVE this stove!!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!! Ps outside enjoying it right now!

This thing is amazing. Burns everything you put in there to fine powdery ash. By far the most efficient and complete burn I've ever experienced with a fire pit. Used it two nights in a row while camping and wearing the same hat and never smelled like smoke. I love the portability of it as well. I do wish there was an easier way to get rid of the ashes, like if the ash pan was removable some how. Though I'm not sure how you'd achieve that and still have the streamlined look. I also wish you could see the fire from the side somehow. I also feel like more of the heat goes up instead of out vs a more open fire pit. Though it's not to hard to get warmer, just stand up next to it. Overall I still love it. I'm planning on making a cooking grate out of expanded metal for it. Should be awesome!

This thing is awesome. Now there is no excuse to have a fire when camping or just hanging in the back yard. I took my Bonfire to a 100 mile trail ultra. We were at a remote aid station and this guy was the point of many conversations. If your friends see this bad boy in action, they will want it. There was little to no impact on the ground under the unit. The smoke was minimal and there was no smoke smell in our clothing. The fire was easy to ignite and there was no problem tending the flames. It does such an efficient job of burning, it is hassle free. Once the fire is out, the clean up is a just as simple as distributing the cold ash. Also there is a minimal amount of residual ash. I love this stove.

I've never gone to the effort to write a review before on any product before in my life , but this thing is absolutely amazing. I've had more than my fair share of outdoor fires and the solo stove bonfire is like nothing I've ever seen. It burns cleaner than any wood fire I've ever witnessed to the point it almost appears like it's propane. If you keep the logs below the rim of the barrel as solo stove recommends there is virtually no smoke. And the airflow design is so good it takes no poking to keep it burning well, Just keep adding wood. But the most impressive aspect of the solo stove, that I just can't get over, is the absolutely mesmerizing flame it produces. The only way I can describe it is liquid fire. It is a amazing show, I can and do watch it for hours. Also it it seems very well made. I have overloaded it with wood and had much larger fires than I'm sure was ever intended and it seems to have held up very well. I expected to come back the next day and find metal warped or misshapen in some way but it is still just as good and strait as new. I was also impressed by the included case. It's heavy duty and well made. It makes for a great cover between fires or allows you to cleanly throw it in the back seat of a car to take it with you. If you have gotten to the point you are reading reviews about this product you need to just go ahead and buy it, you want regret it, because I promise there's no better option for a outdoor fire.
