Best Fire Pit Ever

It has a fantastic look and design. We have since bought many of the accessories to enhance our experience. It portable so we can move it around and take on camping trips!! So much fun to have a blazing fire on a cold night!

Porch Time

I was skeptical at first but the solo stove has given us a new love for porch time. With minimal smoke if any at all we can sit out there in the evenings and enjoy ourselves and not smell like smoke when we go to bed. It puts off a tremendous amount of heat so even as the temperatures are dropping here we can still enjoy our porch into winter. Best purchase!!

Bonfire is awesome

I picked up the bonfire locally while I waited for my Yukon order to ship and have been nothing but pleased. It's very easy to start the fire with kindling. Once you get the kindling going, throw on some logs (don't be stingy) to get the secondary burn going. Once the secondary burn kicks in, it's almost smokeless. The bonfire is much more portable than the Yukon and has a nice bag to lug it around. I'd say it's good for a small 4 person gathering. Once you get the flames going, it puts off plenty of heat. Some reviews may say it doesn't put off enough heat, but if you prop up your feet or have higher seating arrangements(e.g. bar stool height) you'll be happy.

Stress-free campfires!

I've always struggled with campfires- keeping them going, not smoking everybody out, not suffocating them. And so I didn't make 'em as much as I could. Watching our friends' Solo in action, it felt like it was made for dolts like me. Now with our own Bonfire model, I just throw the wood in there, light a match with a couple paper scraps, and watch it grow. Instead of blowing on it and moving wood around and cursing and apologizing, I can just sit back and enjoy the fire, feeding it more wood, and pondering in amazement the wonder of thermodynamics.

Skeptic, now a believer!

I'll admit, I was skeptical that the price of a Solo stove vs a conventional fire pit was justified but the wife was insistent :) Wow, to say that by bonfire exceeded my expectations is an understatement. Easy to light, burns hot, and virtually no smoke! Not to mention its extremely easy to maintain and store. I'm officially a Solo Stove advocate!

Beats the chill!

With winter and covid upon us we needed some warmth and good cheer. Our new bonfire fire pit has provided both with plenty of heat and a beautiful show of flames. Burns really well and impressed both us and our friends on a 30 degree night - and we did not smell of smoke afterwards! Highly recommended.
