Great city fire pit

If you live in a neighborhood with tight quarters and might be concerned by smoke bothering your neighbors, the solo stove is the answer. Not only is the solo stove fantastic for its ease of use, safety, and efficiency the way smoke burns off instead of billowing out into nearby open windows or your face and clothes is amazing.

The Bonfire works!

I was somwhat skeptical of the no smoke claim, after our previous portable firepit was essentailly unusable because of the sidways smoke. But after a friend's reccomendation, I thought I would try it out. And it works as advertised. It has a nice flame, good heat, and hardly any lateral smoke. The only minor issue is that the drum is so smooth that it it is difficult to pick up and place in the carry bag. Perhaps a small handle/raised area would make it easier to move. Otherwise it works great.

I am in love with our Bonfire; my only complaint is that maybe we should have purchased the larger version for more heat. It's efficient, attractive, and has extended the season on our patio by months and months (which is the biggest plus during the current pandemic). HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My wife and I had a traditional hardware store-bought "fire pit" that was quite literally on it's last leg and falling apart. We had seen Solo Stove products advertised on social media, but were hesitant to commit because of the price. The product is WELL WORTH the investment! The 'Bonfire' model is an ideal size. It's lightweight enough to easily dispose of ashes and move in to a dry space for storage, but also big enough to provide plenty of heat and fire while in use. I can place 2-3 pieces of wood on top of a Duraflame log and easily have a roaring fire going in five minutes or less. The flame truly stays contained in a cylindrical fashion above the opening of the fire pit making the unit extremely safe. Depending on the size of the wooden logs being used, 2-4 pieces stacked up to just below the rim will burn and provide adequate flame for an hour or more with little to no poking or fanning - PLUS, the technology of the Bonfire also leaves very little ash behind. The most obvious difference between our Solo Stove product and other "fire pits" is the lack of smoke produced. We are especially satisfied that we can use the Bonfire on our back deck by using the Solo Stove Bonfire Stand, rather than burn the grass in the yard. The stand allows us to enjoy the fire pit without any harm to the deck. The complementary carrying case is made of quality material and can even serve as water resistant protection during rain. Speaking of which, with an impending storm coming after one such use, I was pleasantly surprised how fast the fire pit cools. I was able to safely pick up and move the Bonfire in to the shed to stay dry. Now that it's 'campfire season', we enjoy our Bonfire multiple times each week and are completely satisfied each time!

We bought this after our old generic firepit started rusting out. The Solo Stove Bonfire is like night and day compared to the old one. It's really impressive how it manages to produce a lot of heat and minimize smoke. Absolutely worth every penny!
