I've had the Bonfire for about a month now and an so pleased that I finally broke down and bought it. A friend of mine got one about 2 years ago, then another about 6 months ago, and with the pandemic I wanted to be able to do outdoor hangouts with friends. I love the community that's grown around the Solo products on FB - there are tons of tips there and great ideas. I like that the solo can burn pretty much everything once it's going with little smoke. I had an old pile of wood that was a little rotten and cut it up and burned it no problem, no stench. I also throw woodstove pellets (cheap and available at home stores) in sometimes to boost it or if I want to extend a burn without adding a whole new log. It also generates a generous amount of heat esp. at the level of the opening (which, for me, is about waist-high when seated next to it). New users should understand that the Solo shouldn't be extinguished with water so you need to wait for it to complete the burn before moving it so plan accordingly. Also, in a roaring burn the sides get EXTREMELY hot so one should either build/buy a surround for protection of pets/kids/clumsy adults or exercise real, focused caution.

I purchased the Bonfire for my husband as a birthday present! He loves it, I love it!!! It is the perfect size for our patio and we don’t go back inside smelling like smoke. It’s easy to use, clean and store! We would 100% recommend purchasing a SoloStove!

Best gift ever

I bought this for my hard to buy for husband, he LOVES it! We took the Bonfire with us camping, no more dancing around the fire while the smoke is in your face. Bonfire kept us warm and in the morning all he did was empty the ashes in the campground fire pit. Who knew you could travel with a fire pit? My husband is so happy with this purchase!

Greatest Firepit Ever!

We have a Travel Trailer and we believe in leave no trace when boondocking. So we have tried may products over the years, most were messy, didn't burn well and left lots of mess to clean up. Then we came across the Bonfire on YouTube, wow what a game changer! We can have a roaring bonfire, burns hot and clean! Very little smoke! Best of all at the end of the day when we are packing up there is no trace of a bonfire, and clean up is as easy as emptying a little bit of ash into a ash can we bring to transport home. Put the Bonfire into its travel bag and off we go! BEST Firepit ever!

Rarely used my fire pit until I got my Solo

Always had a hard time starting and was very smokey. Never was able to burn all the wood. This unit incinerates everything I put in it. Easy clean up and really puts out the heat, and very little smoke. The unit is light enough to put away when not in use.

Backyard Bonfire for Socially Distanced Gatherings

We purchased a Bonfire after a few get togethers with our neighbors who have one. It throws off a ton of heat and produces a nice clean flame. Would happily recommend to anyone. We are looking forward to some additional accessories, a small surround would be nice!

Amazing!!!

My only regret is I didn’t pull the trigger on this four months ago when I first discovered it online. Thought it might be too small and looked too much like a stockpot. I was wrong! It is a perfect size and burns beautifully! The glow projected from the flames is really something too. Burns so efficiently you won’t believe it with very little to no smoke! This thing is awesome!
