Great fire pit

Used it for the first time and it was a little chilly. It started up and had a true flame! Had a decent amount of smoke, but could also be the wood or small amount that was in the pits for a short burn.

Bonfire, so easy to use

I love this stove! It is so easy to use! It is very light so it is easy to store then just pick up to carry it to where you want your fire! Very easy to empty the very little ash left over from your fire as it is not awkward to just pick it up and dump it! You don’t smell like a fire after you use it as there is very little smoke ! I’ve had other fire “pits” but this STOVE outshines then 100 %!

It does exactly what you need a firepit to do!

My lovely wife bought this as a gift for me. We missed not having a fire outside as our home is in a densely built neighborhood. Other firepits that I've had before make tons of smoke and emit lots of sparks. Those were our concerns in having another one.
It lights right away with kindling and a piece of starter material. Once the kindling takes off, add a small split piece of wood. Burns right away. Keep feeding it as long as you like. It takes time for it to cool off as it burns the wood completely. There will be nothing left but two handfulls of ash. Graet job Solo Stove. It also comes with a carrying case so that you can store it somewhere between uses. Portable and efficient.

Great for Families!!

Easy set up, burns down to almost nothing, easy to store and transport. We’ve used our Bonfire every weekend since we’ve bought it. Kids love to toast smores and I just like to relax near the fire. Highly recommend!

Friends won’t believe you!!!

I bought this stove about a month ago and I’ve had more friends come over for camp fires than ever before. They just can’t believe that it’s smokeless! I always get the fire roaring before they get here and the first thing they mention is how little smoke it produces! It’s easy to light and doesn’t throw ash everywhere. I’ve used leaves, paper and cardboard to light the fire and love how it doesn’t end up all over my patio! Can’t say enough great things about this Solo Stove!

Goes through wool fast, understandably though
The big downside of this design is due to the lack of radiant heat. Of course this is to be expected with the double wall design, it’s just worth noting. I may end up building a heavy duty screen top to put off a bit more heat.
