My Best Pandemic Purchase

The Solo Stove Bonfire has worked exactly as promised - easy to start a fire, nearly smokeless and efficiently mobile. Better then being a well crafted product, the Bonfire has given my family, friends and myself the valued time together we have so desperately needed during the pandemic. This is without a doubt the best pandemic purchase we have made!

Small but mighty - perfect size for a patio!

After anxiously awaiting my Solo box, it arrived; almost like Christmas morning! unpacked the rascal, moved it to the back patio and prepped for my first fire.
Starter materials and upward to a small "log". Well, not really, but it was big. Started the fire at one and stopped around 8 PM. A success I would say.
Sent vids to my froends and relatives... think they humored me saying I was like Davy Crockett!
Anyhow, awesome purchase..the tools were pretty darned helpful.

Fantastic Fire Pit!!

My wife and I like real fires but cannot stand smelling like one when done. So we have avoided building a fire pit or anything in the backyard. We first bought a Bonfire for our son and daughter-in-law about a month ago. They liked it so much we bought one for ourselves. Tried it out for the first time last weekend with some neighbors and simply love it. Puts out a ton of heat and the smoke goes straight up. We live in a suburban neighborhood which makes this even better because you simply sit it on the driveway (we purchased the stand also - recommended for sure) and enjoy it with your friends and family. It burns wood so efficiently that all that was left in the morning was a little bit of ash. Turned it over in the grass, raked the ash into the grass and voila, that was it. Simple, efficient, easy to clean up and enables us to enjoy the outdoors at our own house. What more can you ask for... Highly recommended!

The Bonfire is terrific! Perfect for sitting around with friends now that the evenings are getting chilly. Using very dry hard wood and fat wood to Start the fire, there is minimal smoke as the fire begins and then none. It gives off a lot of heat. It is easy to move and care for, even for in person. You will want the spark shield and storage cover.

We are using our fire pit about 3 times/week

We love our fire pit and use it thrice per week. Here is what we like about it: 1) it makes our patio useable when it's a little chilly out. This fire pit produces quite a bit of heat. 2) It uses wood, which is renewable energy source and make the patio smell good if you use natural wood. 3) It is easy to clean up the ash the next day. 4) Well made - heavy stainless steel is durable. 5) The carrying case makes it easy to store (although we have been using it, we have not stored it ;).
