Great little bonfire item for the backyard! Wood burns nice and with little smoke. Looking forward to using it on the upcoming colder nights when hanging out!

Bonfire is Fire!

I was going back and forth for a couple of months on whether to purchase the Solo Stove or another brand firepit. After an up close and personal encounter with a friends SS (Yukon) I was convinced to go with the Solo. I purchased the Bonfire and am happy I did every time I start a fire. It is the perfect size for my family of 7 and puts out a great amount of heat. Needless to say, I don't smell like smoke after a night by the fire which is amazing! I also ended up purchasing the Solo Station to stock up on wood and store my Bonfire. Overall I am extremely happy with my Bonfire and would recommend it to anyone who is on the fence or looking to get a new firepit!

Ultimate Bonfire!

After many years of having bonfires and dreaming of the ultimate bonfire, we have found it! The Solostove Bonfire is is smoke free, and produces great flame. Materials and workmanship are exceptional. I only wish that I had bought one earlier.

Small but gives off good heat

Purchased the bonfire a couple weeks ago as a portable fire pit. This pit will emit a lot of heat. It burns cleanly and efficiently.
I do recommend purchased the ash catcher accessory though if you’re going to be seating near this fire pit with a blanket or cushioned seats. A lot of embers flew out of this pit and burned a couple of our blankets. Purchased the catcher and haven’t had that issue.

Where Engineering Meets Adventure

After buying and quickly destroying two cheap (in both price and construction) big-box-store fire pits, I finally sucked it up and bought a Solo Stove Bonfire.
From the moment I opened the box, I knew it was very different and that I was going to like this thing. Firstly, it looked as if it had been milled from a single block of surgical steel. It really felt more like something you'd find in a NASA clean room than a backyard patio. Even the included tote bag was of exceptional quality.
But it was when the fire got going that I really understood the difference. It burned faster, hotter and more evenly than any run-of-the-mill fire bowl. You could actually see flames jetting from the holes inside as fresh air was sucked in and through the chamber. And when it was done, all that was left was light gray ash to put on the compost pile. (It brought to mind that important college-years lesson: "If it's black, put it back. If it's gray, throw it away.")
The bottom line is, this thing was engineered to be a better fire pit, and you can tell. It bears as much resemblance to the old school black fire-bowl as a Tesla does to a Model T. It's that revolutionary.

Love the sleek design and portability. Easy to set up and use. The fire burned with minimal smoke and provided good heat. The stove cooled off quickly when we were done.

I've had mine for a couple months now and it's awesome. I bought it to be able to have a pit on my wood deck, so the stand was a necessity. For piece of mind, I also place it on pavers, but that's probably not necessary. It's also portable enough to pack in your SUV and take places. One of the best purchases I've ever made.
