Different from other fire pits

We really like this fire pit: it looks cool and when it's really going, has very little smoke. I recommend the shelter cover for the pit as well, super easy on and off, and protects the pit nicely. Some things to get used to that's different from a conventional fire pit: 1. It takes a bit to get it going, so plan ahead because it works best when the metal around it is hot. Once it's going, it consumes wood at a greater rate than conventional as well, because it burns so hot. 2. The walls are higher, so when the fire is dying down, you can no longer see the flames which is an adjustment. Overall, I love this fire pit and so does my family!

Really nice

Works great. Low smoke (not no smoke but low smoke). More importantly no smokey clothes smell! Starts fast and burns complete.
I was worried that the Bonfire would be to small but now I think I should have gone with the ranger (smaller). That being said I am very happy with the firepit.

Perfect

I first experience a solo stove at a close friend's house. We sat outside for a few hours. When I arrived home, I realized I didn’t smell like smoke... I was 100% sold. My family and I are now enjoying many fires on the front porch. I’m impressed with both the quality and the look of my bonfire stove. Since my purchase, I’ve had a friend or two purchase a solo stove as well :)

Smoke Free Fun

We have a small yard, patio is right by back door and kitchen windows. Never wanted to get a fire pit for fear that the whole house would smell of smoke every time we lit a fire. Read about the Bonfire- reviews of little or no smoke- and we decided to give it a try. Amazing!! We can enjoy a fire and not feel like the whole house smells like a chimney. Throws off a nice amount of heat- looking forward to the colder days ahead with plenty of fires in the Bonfire!

Loving the new Bonfire!

It has gotten cooler in the evenings here in Tidewater Virginia. It is the perfect time for our new Solo Bonfire! We have enjoyed it for three nights since it has been cool enough to enjoy it. With the addition of several cement blocks to elevate it, were are using without risk on our wooden deck. A cup of tea, some hot chocolate, a good book and my wife and I are set for a beautiful fall evening, staying warm and enjoying the dancing flames. Thanks for a great product. We love it!!

A great gift - do not second guess!

I purchased the Bonfire for my husband for his birthday. He said he wanted a new fire pit, so the search began. I was drawn to the Bonfire because of its sleek design and its ability to keep down the smoke. I know it's a bit pricey, but it is worth it! It comes with a sturdy storage bag, so as long as we take good care of it, I feel like this will last many, many years. We have used it twice so far and when our friends saw it in action, we got so many compliments. We used in once on out deck and once in our yard. The deck did not get too hot and the grass in the yard did not burn! Am glad I purchased it and would highly recommend.
