Stylish to look at, not warm to gather around.

The Solo stove is a stylish version of the good old washer drum fire pit. The bonfire is still portable and can take reasonable sized firewood. It also burns with relatively low smoke levels. It does have a few drawbacks. Emptying the ashes is a real chore as you basically have to turn it upside down and shake it to get the ashes out of the double walled sides. Doing this will get ashes over your shoes and pants. There is not much heat dissipation when gathered around the stove. So it feels more like a fire pit to watch the flames than to warm you on the heat. The inside grill (under the wood) also has badly corroded after just a few times use even as the fire pit has never been left outside. Would I recommend it? Depends. If you are looking for an easy to clean fire pit to stay warm on cold evenings, look elsewhere. If you are after a stylish "washer drum" type fire pit to look at the flames and make 's'mores, this is great.

Love My Bonfire!

I love my solo bonfire, I got it for Christmas gift and just recently set it up
On my patio. I got to tell you, my neighbors are envious. This is constructed excellent and I will not have to purchase any other brand, as I’m a solo customer for life!

I have the Bonfire and absolutely love this ... great job on design, easy to use, as well as clean. Best thing is you don’t smell like smoke after using. Displays beautiful flames as well as generating heat. Simply the best out there and worth every dollar. Great job Solo Stove team.

Everything I was looking for and more!

This stove is worth every penny. The flame, heat and smokeless feature is unbeatable. I especially like the portability of the stove. The clean up of the ashes the next day was simple. A quick turn over and just dump them out. A regular fire pit is so much more work and so much dirtier! Solostove makes clean up simple. I was worried the bonfire wouldn't be big enough for our family of five. But, it is actually plenty big and suits us perfectly!

Being a single mom and having wonderful memories when I was kid growing up on camping or just have fires in my parents backyard was always so much fun. Is was so relaxing. Loved telling stories and of course making pizzas and s’mores. I want to my girls to have the same, so I heard wonderful things about the solo stove about myself on for Mother’s Day and it was the best gift ever. My two young girls LOVE IT!!! Can’t wait to make many more memories ;) Thank you

Just what we wanted!

We have a paver patio and I have wanted to have a fire pit for Spring and Fall evenings. However when I have been at friends homes and sat around their fire pit, they are constantly poking the fire and we are always having to move or chairs to escape the smoke. Not with the Solo Bonfire! After starting the fire we had 3 hours of smokeless beautiful flames , no smoke, and we only had to occasionally drop a log on the fire. Clean up the next morning was simple with very few ashes and no unburnt wood pieces.

The Solo Bonfire is the best fire-pit I have ever used or sit by. I would highly recommend this fire-pit to anyone that likes to spend time outdoors. I am so happy to be an owner of a Solo.

Just As Promised

My husband and I have a beautiful big deck in our back yard. We have always wished we could have a fire up there but with a wood deck it wasn't possible..until now! The Bonfire worked well on our deck, as promised! No discoloration of the stain, little popping of embers and virtually no smoke or ash! The stove was plenty big enough and at 20+ pounds it was easy to empty the ash the next morning. We are thrilled. Thanks Solo Stove
