The text woke my phone up. I anxiously looked at the message and then, with a sigh of relief, whispered to myself, “It’s here.” My Solo Stove Bonfire had just been delivered. When I arrived home from work, I parked, somewhat haphazardly, and ran up the front steps to see my Bonfire on the porch. I was like a little kid who finally got the self-present he’d been waiting for. Ever since I saw my first Solo Stove at a friend’s house, I knew I had to have one. The dog’s daily walk to the park would have to wait. Honestly, I feel like opening a well-packaged product is almost as much fun as using it for its intended purpose. To me, it was akin to opening a new Apple product. As I carefully cut the packing tape, and un-boxed my prize, I paused only briefly to document the process with my aforementioned iPhone. It was fun and interesting to peel the layers away and ready it for its inaugural set-up. Wow! Beautiful, shiny, and aesthetically pleasing. Like art, except within hours it would have a 2000-degree fire burning inside it. Set-up was easy and fast. Lighting the fire was painless. Waiting for the magic of the fire ring was excruciating as that was what mesmerized me about the Solo Stove the first time I experienced it. The moment when the flames start to dance out of the fire ring around the top was indeed magical. It was everything I had hope for and more. As my friends (I had to have friends over!) and I watched in silence, the fire danced and it warmed us. It was entrancing and mysterious thanks to the science behind its build. The Solo Stove Bonfire will make great events and evenings ones to remember. Great product and great service! Can’t wait for my next Bonfire.

I bought this to burn some cut-offs from projects. I figured it would be a better and more enjoyable way of getting rid of some excess wood. I Love the ease of set up of the Bon-fire. Its portable so if you were so inclined, you can even take it with you camping. The heat radiated is excellent, and the secondary burn is pretty awesome. It really does burn with less smoke. I also wanted to burn off some excess papers, once set or the shredder. Burning them was much more fun. Although, the size of the bon-fire does not let you burn too much until the ash builds up. I was surprised to see how much it did hold. All in all, it is a great product and in my opinion, worth the money. Very well built and well engenired.

Perfect sized fire pit

The bonfire rules. We were nervous it would be too small but it is perfect for our backyard. It works incredibly, highly satisfied. Fully understand why some people would want the yukon, but the bonfire works great for us.

My wife recently bought me a bonfire for my birthday. This fire pit is truly awesome. Simple, neat, easy to use, portable and practical for my back yard. Kids go crazy over it. Looking forward to having many nights with the family now that we have a reason to gather our back.

Just purchased the bonfire. Have not used it yet, just read and watched countless reviews & videos. I’m already on the fence as whether or not to keep it.
I love the whole burn process, however, feel that there should be more realistic options that already exist on this thing. For example...once I am out camping & have a decent fire going and it starts to rain out of nowhere, how do I extinguish & move this thing to a dryer spot to prevent any warping and/or rusting damage?
Why no carrying handles? Why no solid cover when hot for rain?
