Very nice!

We have only used this once thus far, but we really liked it! The fire started nicely and burned clean. We didn't have to circle the fire to escape the smoke at all. It fits our normal wood stove length wood. It's excellent at toasting perfect marshmallows, which is also important!

Bonfire Rocks!!!!

This thing is amazing. Dropped a couple logs with some newspaper, lighted it up, and enjoyed the best portable fire pit known!!!! Enjoyed it even on the deck, no worries about this thing hurting anything you place it on because of this awesome design! I'm now a solo stove customer for life. Thank you solo stove this is exactly what my family has been waiting for.

A BLOW TORCH ON STERIODS

I KNEW HOW BIG IT WAS WHEN I ORDERED IT, BUT OUT OF THE BOX--IT WAS HUGE! I WAS IN A HURRY TO TEST IT, SO I GATHERED ENOUGH WOOD TO FILL IT TO ABOUT 25% OF ITS CAPACITY. IT WILL HOLD ENOUGH WOOD TO KEEP AN AIR-TIGHT STOVE RUNNING ALL EVENING. I STUFFED SOME WADDED UP NEWSPAPER DOWN IN THE BOTTOM AND LIT IT OFF WITH A PROPANE TORCH. WHEN I RETURNED FROM THE GARAGE AFTER PUTTING THE TORCH AWAY, IT WAS ALREADY UP AND RUNNING. IN LESS THAN 5-MINUTES THE FLAMES WERE 2-FEET HIGH, AND PUTTING OUT AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF HEAT. WITH LESS WOOD IN IT, IT WILL GET HOTTER FASTER. THOSE VENTS AROUND THE BOTTOM OF THE BONFIRE LET IN A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF AIR WHICH FANS THE FLAMES. THOSE GUYS IN SOLO STOVE IN TEXAS, HAVE REALLY OUTDONE THEMSELVES THIS TIME. THIS IS THE CROWN JEWEL OF THEIR LINE, AND I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY CAN TOP THIS.

Love this thing...

Great build quality, super easy to get a good fire going even with a bigger pieces of wood. Good heat distribution, and super efficient use of fuel. If you are looking for a great pit for car camping, or just something to pull out in the yard or at a BBQ, you can't go wrong with this.

Portable, presentable, pyrogenic

This is the rare device that lives up to the hype. It starts fires easily, generates a lot of heat and little smoke, burns wood down to fine ashes, looks good, and is easy enough to move around that you'll bring it to campsites that already have a fire pit because this is better. It's fully-valued at the current price, i.e. it's not a "steal", but it is totally worth it if it fits into your budget.

We love LOVE our Solo Stove Bonfire. So easy to get a bonfire started and burns so efficiently. So nice not to have to dance around the fire to get away from the smoke. Can't wait to enjoy the many bonfires to come. Thanks Solo Stove!!

The Perfect Fire

We have found the best fire pit ever. It's easy to clean. There's no smoke once you have enough fuel to fill canister and a big enough flame. The heat output is amazing. With our old fire pit we were going through 4 bags of wood in 4 hours, now we're only using 2 (20lb) bags of wood. Since we purchased the Bonfire we've had weekly fire and movie nights. Tip: We found that the 18.5" weber cooking grate fits perfectly on the bonfire. Just flip it upside down so that the handles fit in the cooking ring and lock it into place so the grate doesn't slip around. We have used cast iron, pie irons, and steel skillets. The is truly the most fantastic fire pit. We loved it so much we needed to share the love and bought another give away as a gift. Two thumbs up and 5 stars.
