Fantastic burn!

I read the reviews before purchasing this stove and they were right. Easy to light, fantastic burn of the wood. I wouldn't say no smoke but the smoke that is generated seems to go straight up. I went out the next day to clean it out by dumping it over onto a plastic bag. Amazingly, there was only about 1 cup of ashes. What is missing is that ability to stare into the glowing embers of a fire...but the other benefits outweigh that. Only 4 stars because the black carry bag is sewn to tight and it is very difficult to get the darn thing in...or out of it.

When people look at Solo Stove, they will more than likely say, “It’s just a Fire Pit”. Well, let me tell you this, it’s not JUST a Fire Pit. The Bonfire Solo Stove has been one of the best investments I have made in a long time. Our neighbors and us get together quite often and have fires and have a few drinks and catch up on life. We’ve dealt with smoke and fires that only burn wood, without keeping us warm in the past. When I told them I was going to purchase the Solo Stove, they thought I was nuts spending that amount of money on just a place to contain the wood as it burned. I invited them over the day I got it and they were all just curious at the time and wanted to see and say what a waste of money it was that I spent. As I lit the fire, we all watched it as it started up. When it hit full force, all they could say is how amazing the fire was and that they were very impressed. They began to tell me my money was well spent and our fires have never been so pleasant and amazing. One of the best compliments was they were so amazed at how there was no smoke and how warm the area around the fire was. If you are sitting on the fence as to should I or shouldn’t I purchase this product, take the leap, you won’t be disappointed.

Before you even light this stove you can see and feel the quality in this product. Fit and finish is superb. Once lit it passed all my expectations on performance clean up and storage is a breeze. Great product

Family is happy; 2 fires into our purchase

Like most, I was afraid that the Bonfire model would be too small. It is smaller than our previous old and ailing fire pit for sure. However, we are generating even more fire, more warmth and more fun with this one. There is plenty of heat when my family of 5 sits around it and fires are a thousand times easier to start and keep than in our old traditional model. We have had 2 great nights by the fire so far and will surely be having many more. Can't wait to take it with us on a family trip as well being it's very easy to transport thanks to the size/weight and bag. If this lasts as long as I think it will (10+ years) it's worth every penny.

I have been looking at the Bonfire for about 18 months. Finally pulled the trigger and ordered! I fired it up with snow coming down and it worked beautifully. Burned clean with very little smoke just in the beginning. Hardly any ash to clean up. Very happy with my purchase!
