Love my new oven!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, the bad: I was a little nervous after reading the reviews that complained about how loud it is. Basically of you're baking under 450, it's nearly silent. Once you hit 500, that fan does whir at a high pitch. It caught me of guard the first time it happened, but you get used to it pretty quickly. The cooktop get much hotter than my old range, so it's a bit of a learning curve. My only real, lasting complaint is that the beep is absolutely unbearable; there's no volume adjustment, so it's either on or completely off--even the timer alarm is silenced.
However, the cooktop settings correspond to predictable results, and those results are very even and reliable heat. The oven can get a bit noisy, but it's not as loud as working in a restaurant kitchen by any stretch of the imagination. Plus the constant temperature of maintains, and the even baking you get means that silence you give up from your old oven is rewarded with amazingly even baking with great results. I'm really glad I went with this range!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WE LIKE OUR NEW STOVE, HOWEVER IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO REALIZE THAT THE MINUTE WE TURN THE OVEN ON WE HEAR THIS COOLING RUN AND IT KEEPS RUNNING UNTIL THE OVEN COOLS DOWN. OUR OLD STOVE HAD A LOT OF THE SAME FEATURES BUT NO FAN. HAD WE KNOWN ABOUT IT WE PROBABLY WOULD HAVE KEPT THE OLD ONE UNTIL IT BLEW UP.
